| After checking in, I had some concerns with the fact that that neither the telephone nor lamps in my room were not working. A concern that could have been resolved amicable. When I expressed my concern to the front desk person, without apologies he abruptly accused me "to be like all other customers" to complain to try to get a discounted rate, which was not at all the case. I was gratuitously insulted by this man. The problems in the room ended up being fixed promptly, but the rudeness was very much unappreciated.

| Loved the hotel. It was an old building and was very comfortable and beautiful. The rooms were like a bed and breakfast. They were small but very comfortable and cozy. They had big robes hanging for you and the bedding was not "hotel like" at all. It was right across the street from the Plaza. I didn't see any other hotels as close to the Plaza. They had a bar, restraunt and a nice front patio area. If we go back to Santa Fe we will definetly stay here again.

| We came from another hotel for the "quality experience" we never got. Check out times are early in Santa Fe. We arrived at 12 noon and were made to wait till 3 o'clock with complimentary nothings (and $2 small bottled waters). No one offered to help us with our bags. The rooms were barely negotiable for 2 people. The wireless internet barely worked in our first room, not to mention bad Premium cable reception. No water in both our rooms (we had to change rooms once). Our second room had no coffee maker. Our smoking rooms had no ashtrays and when we asked for them, they never came. The general atmosphere was pompous, pretentious, and "could care less-ness". It wasted our time and ruined our trip. We will never stay in Santa Fe again. Bad taste in our mouths

| We were please with the character of this hotel. Not plastic and slick, but cozy, filled with unusual antiques and settings. In all fairness, it is difficult to rate the service from our two encounters; checking in, and our bed being turned down when we arrived back for the evening. Both, very nice touches. Only complaints are that the room was TINY had far larger rooms in London, Paris, ect. And the room was so oddly appointed, a cabbage patch doll on the iron bed headboard? And, the noise in the morning was incredible, excessive and began at 6:00am (not all of us are up at 6, especially when we did not go to sleep until 2am!!! Soundproofing, what a concept!!!
