I've read some of the reviews on this hotel and have come to the conclusion that once in a while all hotels, even the best ones can hit it off wrong and sour people into bad reviews. My stay was perfect, I have not one complaint. I recommend the valet parking due to construction around the hotel, but it had minimal interference. Every staff I encountered, including foreign hires, were respectful and patient. The filet mignon in the hotel steakhouse was the best I've had in a long time. The location is convenient to a nice outdoor mall with an IMAX theater. Local train service is right across the street. My overall opinion for travellers - be patient, kind and polite and the favor will be returned. Try it.

The hotel was very nice. However, they should offer an airport shuttle and/or a local shuttle service for hotel guests.

My husband and I stayed here for just under a week. It was the most comfotable bed we'd ever slept in; room service was quick, reasonable, generous and delicious; and everything was clean and well-kept. The only drawback was the parking garage which seemed to be under reconstruction. However it was still usable.

This hotel is in a prime location within easy walking distance of most popular attractions. There is much construction happening, however, that made it somewhat noisy at times and definately left my vehicle (in the parking garage) filthy all of the time. Biggest complaint - the hotel was extremely busy with a college volleyball tournament and the (4) elevators were so slow that there was constantly a long line to get one. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable.

The hotel itself is okay, but the circumstances of my stay were unsatisfactory. On the night we were there, it was full of college kids who up until 3am, congregating in the halls, drinking and making a lot of noise. Our room was next to the elevator in the maximum noise zone. Repeated calls to the front desk did nothing and when I protested the next morning, the guy just looked at me and said he was sorry. I expect a lot more from a hotel of this kind.

Decent views, comfortable rooms. Minor negative is the garage is under severe construction. When they are jackhammering you'll hear it in the lobby and it is painful to go into the garage.

In my 20+ years of traveling I have never seen a hotel that did not supply the rooms with hand towels or wash cloths. Same thing for our friens room at the other end of the hall. Also we tried to eat one evening in the restaurant, but we were told at the door. We have tables to seat you at, but no staff for those tables. If you want to sit there for an hour we might be able to get somebody over to you.

I traveled to SLC for a business convention. This hotel is located adjacent to the Salt Palace Convention Center where the convention was held. I arrived at 10PM to find the hotel over booked and no room available on a guaranteed room. They did find me a room but it was miles away at a lower quality motel. The Radisson employee got lost going to the other hotel then left in a hurry once I was dropped off. When I presented the paperwork to the front desk at the no tell motel they said they were sold out. A phone call back to the Radisson cleared that up and I was finally in my room at midnight. This mix up affected my plans for the next day because of the distance from the show. But to the hotel managers credit he sent a van to pick me up and greeted me personally when I arrived back at the Radisson. He was not able to give me an explanation as why my guaranteed room was let go but he did refund the cost of my first night at the Radisson and bought me breakfast while the room was made up for me. He was very humble and gracious and apologetic. The service thereafter was good, though some of the restaurant and bar staff could use a refresher course on customer service.

Staff was helpful and plesant, though not always prompt: we asked for a phone book and waited more than an hour, one day housekeeping did not clean one of our rooms until requested to do so. Non-personnel issues were that the TV internet did not work and there was no tech support for it, and the sauna wood was painted (!) making it extremely unhealthly to use as the paint fumes were intense. However, there was a lovely pool and fitness center and all issues were dealt with to our satisfaction.

Nice room, pretty friendly, although none of the housekeeping staff could speak english. did not go out of their way to provide great service. Room servie breakfast was very late one morning, but they made up for it the next. Nice wireless Internet connection. Convenient location to lots of downtown venues. room was fine except for the tv system-complicated; and the air-way too dry.
