| Traveling to NY by myself and did not want to spend alot of money. Very surprised with this value. Returning to NY in March and will stay there again.

| it is with shared bath and the windows can not close completely so it was COLD and very noisy!!! But, the room and the bath were clean. The worst thing is the staffs who works at thr fronts they were the worst they were very rude, just unkind I felt as if they were guests bad attitude !!

| Brilliant location, just a couple of blocks from 42nd street. Walking distance to lots and lots of Manhattan attractions. Hotel was clean tidy and well serviced. Staff were helpful and polite. Minor complaint was that TV in room only had a few channels and half were in spanish. But who goes to NYC to watch TV? The rooms are small and not well suited for spending any time in, but the bed was comfortable. I would happily use this hotel again.

| It's a good, clean place to stay. The rooms facing the street, however, are very noisy--starting around 3 am in the morning. Also, the place is a bit cold due to the open windows in the hallways and the drafty windows in the rooms.

| This was perfect for me -- I was in NYC for a few days by myself and didn't need anything fancy. Room was clean & comfortable; shared bathrooms were clean, and there are several on each floor -- I never had to wait to use one. Fellow guests were pretty quiet and polite, but there's a lot of street noise, so bring ear plugs to get some decent sleep. Would stay there again.

| Our room (in October) had a window air conditioner with big gaps around it that froze us. We stuffed towels and newspapers around it and still froze - the front desk said they couldn't turn up the heat because the other rooms would get too hot and some of them didn't have windows. The rooms we stayed in the first night (they moved us from room to room) were acceptable. The hotel was clean and basic and the shared bathrooms were okay. Take your chances!

| I guess it's good for NYC, but it's with shared bath (not mentioned in the web site) and the windows can't close completely so it was COLD!!! I had to seal them with toilet paper!
