The hotel was very good place to stay. We were treated very nice by the staff. They gave us a room on the 34th floor with a wonderful view. Great water pressure and hot water in shower espically for being on the top floor. Slots were very loose. I won $150 twice on nickel machines. The only complaint I would have is the parking is a little tight on a weekend. We got the last spot on the top floor of the garage.

this hotel offers excellent service at great prices. its a nice, quaint, little downtown hotel on fremont street. as long as you dont think it needs to measure up to hotels that charge double the price and more, its a great place to stay. my wife and i were very satisfied and very well treated. room were very clean, air conditioner worked like a champ in 105 degree heat and beds were comfortable.

We were very satisfied with the inexpensive stay in a Hotel with a great downtown location. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. There was new carpet in the halls and the pool and jacuzzi were very well kept and clean. Although not a burden to me, my wife did not like the location of the pool out by the street. The only complaint was that the walls seemed quite thin since we could hear conversations and coughs from the other room during the night. Overall, We were very satisfied.

Well First of all this Place Fitzgeralds was AWFUL MY room had a dead Roach in the bathroom and it took the maid 3 hours to clean the room and the bathtub was cracked inside of it and was rusting! The only saving grace this hotel has is the staff is friendley and helpful! Otherwise I'll never stay there EVER AGAIN! Oh, The ELVIS show is really good!

This hotel could use a little updating. However, considering price and convenience it is a bargain. It is clean and comfortable and well located to many attraction's. You can be on strip in 10-15 min if that is on your itinerary. Also within 10-15 min from factory outlet mall if that is your thing.

Room was clean and condition was fair to good. Lots of hot water and good temperature control. Towels and linens were clean. Good quality shampoo, lotion etc...The food at the buffet was decent and the price was right. Service on the casino floor was fair to good. Casino seemed to have good air circulation. Free parking for hotel guests. I would rate this hotel as "OK" nothing exceptional about it. Decent for the cheap rate.

The hotel has easy access to all the Fremont Street action. The room was worn but very clean. The bathroom especially. Good shower force. Everything you need at this hotel, good buffet, restuarants, Bars, Elvis show, all types of slots and tables as well as Sports Bet. The staff were very courteous and helpful. On check in, they give you coupons for freebies and discounts. It is pretty self containined and for those who have done the strip - this gives you an opportunity for the other side of Vegas.

The walls are paper thin. You will hear everything and I do mean everything that your neighbors are doing or saying. It rained while we were there and we were on top floor. There was a leak which shorted our smoke detector and it loudly woke us up at 6:50 a.m.!! Maintenance people changed it, left and then 1/2 hr. later it did it again. Hotel didn't offer anything for this inconvenience. Also, our car was keyed while parked in the garage!! Terrible trip. Will never stay at the Fitzgerald again!!

The Expedia arrangements all worked out very well. We were pleased with the hotel and the staff there. It was a good value for the price charged. Our biggest problem was with the very slow elevators. I found that quite a few of my fellow travellers used the fire stairs instead of waiting endlessly as full elevator, after full elevator, passed by our floor. We were on the 8th floor, so using the stairs was not too bad.

The hotel was nice, however we had a very noisy ac unit. We had to complain several times before it was replaced. The in hotel restaurant has horrible food. I lost a bag of items and the hotel was unwilling to deal with the matter. I was told several times to come down and file a report but when I got there they said it would make no difference and refused to take the report. My hotel stay alone ended up double the cost due to this issue. I will never stay at this hotel again and in the future I will make absolutely sure that they have insurance to cover the loss of guests belongings.

When we checked in, non-smoking rooms were no longer avaliable, neither was the king size bed requested. Instead the hotel placed us in a smoking room with double beds, with the promise to "ozone" the room to remove the smoke smell. The hotel's idea of ozone was a pink bottle that smelled like recycled potporri which turned out to be worse than the original smell of smoke. The walls are paper thin and the beds were uncomfortable. I would explore other options in this price range before returning to this hotel again.

I admit that I originally wanted to stay on "the strip" as this was my first time in vegas but my friend Annette swore by this hotel and with the money we were saving for a 4 night stay I agreed to go along and book it. Turns out it has all the amenities you need; 2 restaurants,an excellent steakhouse and one that has a buffet. The cafe is open 24 hours. Right outside the hotel are numerous shops and restaurants, a multiplex movie theater and all the souvenier shops you'll need. There is a concierge desk to book tours. If you have time I reccommend the Hoover Dam,and Lake Mead Cruise. I also did the Grand Canyon by bus but that took 15 hours. I am not much of a gambler so it worked for me.If you decide to venture out on the strip there is a $2.00 local bus that will take you there. You can also find cabs all over the place. On one occasion I actually walked down the strip from the Excalibur to the downtown area in a few hours. All in all a great 4 days!
