| I would definitely do the Georgian Terrace again. The view from the hotel is amazing, beautiful view of the downtown buildings. Location is excellent, very convenient, close to restaurants, and grocery store if needed. The concierge gave us plenty of ideas to adventure in Atlanta. The only issue is having to pay $25 a day for parking. Overall the service is great!

| My husband and 2 children went for the weekend to visit the aquarium. We had a great time the room was beautiful we stayed in the luxury suite it was huge. The hotel is very historic and I loved the fact that it held the premier party for Gone with the wind. It is just across the street from the Fox Theater. We will be back!!!

| This should be considered a 1 star hotel. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpet was old and moldy. The door locks did not seem secure. The air conditioning was out in the lobby and was partially available in the rooms. I seriously considered writing off the cost of the room and moving to another hotel, but I was only going to be there for one night.

| I was pleasantly surprised by this neat old hotel located across the street from the Fox Theatre and within a block of some really neat locally owned restaurants. Easily accessible to 85. Not to mention the great old bar in the hotel. I was only there one night, but would have like to have stayed longer to take advantage of the nearby restuarants and hotel bar.

| The grand beauty of the entryway and hotel lobby is not indicative of the suite you will find upstairs. The hotel location is outstanding, and the "suite" is a large, former apartment complete with full kitchen. The furnishings are a bit shabby and uncomfortable; some of the lamps did not work. But is was great having a refrigerator and plenty of room. Please note that the in-room movies are only available on the bedroom tv....a fact we learned when checking out. The parking deck is convenient in a city not known for having lots of parking options, but it's expensive.

| This was an improvement over our last stay when the front desk seemed utterly clueless. This time, front desk was efficient and courteous. Room maintenance was lacking (blood stain on a door, poorly vacuumed). Hotel bar was OUTRAGEOUSLY priced compared to local taverns. (Cosmopolitan and Gin and Tonic = $25!!!)

| The Georgian Terrace Hotel is an unusual amalgamation of two or three free standing historic structures crowned with an 18 story atrium and connecting walkway system that creates an awesome architectural spectacle. My room had a full kitchen, remodeled bath, and antique furnishings that were extremely comfortable and easy to enjoy. The view from the roof-top pool, which I enjoyed daily, was spectacular, particularly at night. The exercise facility is on the penthouse level and has incredible views, albeit with somewhat aged equipment. The restaurant and bar provided excellent service and fare. The patio is especially nice for breakfast before the summer heat settles in on the neighborhood. The lobby and bell staff was helpful and courteous, and the surrounding neighborhood is busy and upscale; crowded with fine examples of Atlanta's beautiful people. I plan to stay at the Terrace whenever my travels take me to Atlanta.

| The Georgian Terrace hotel far exceeded our expectations. I chose the hotel strictly for its location to the Fox Theatre (it's across the street) but upon arriving, I realized the hotel was a gem! The room was wonderful and huge. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and the upstairs bar overlooked Peachtree St. We can't wait to come back.

| After reading all of the previous reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. My wife and I were impressed with the architecture inside the hotel. The check-in staff were very cordial and ready to offer help if needed. The room was very clean. We could tell it had some age, but overall we were satisfied with the comfort level and "niceness" of the room. There was even a small kitchenette and washer and dryer, which we didn't need. As long as you are aware that you're staying in a decades old hotel, I don't think you will be disappointed. And, if you are going to see a show at the Fox, then it's a great choice because it's right across the street! The only real gripe is that hotel parking was expensive for just a one day stay.

| During our stay at the Georgian, the location was perfect for the Fox theatre but other than that the room was not luxury at all. Very disappointing and uncomfortable. The bed and bedding was hard and rough. One pleasing thing was the staff and esp.the great doormen outside. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel lobby, but the room decor was way below standard. Something needs to be done to upgrade to their 3.5 star rating, way over what it should be.

| We enjoyed are stay at the Georgia Terrace. It was located near the Fox Theater, close to bars and a Marta rail station. Our room was spacious and the hotel had a great charm about it. The rooftop pool was great with a spectacular view of the city, however the heater was not working which made the pool intolerably cold. We did not like paying $25 a night to use valet parking. The head concierge was very helpful, knowledgable and made a couple reservations for us. The staff were friendly. I recommend going to the Tamarind Thai restuarant on 14th street and the Spotted Dog on North Ave beside the Marta station. Overall we would come back.

| If you like to visit hotels with charm then this is one you shouldn't miss. Located close to many area attractions (within walking distance and/or Marta) you can go to a different attraction every day. The food was great and the room was very comfortable. The number of closets (one walk-in) made it easy to keep the room neat during our stay. The television was one drawback -- but who needs television when you can rock the night away on the front porch and watch all the activity across the street at the Fox Theatre.

| This is a neat hotel. If you like unique places to stay, then pick this place. The staff was nice and the rooms modernized (even Tempur-Pedic mattresses). If you are the type of person who likes everything polished with a sheen of generic like in the suburbs, then don't stay here and instead find yourself a place in one of the hotel chains. This hotel's location is great and a person can walk just about anywhere of note in Atlanta or take the MARTArail which is 1/2 block away. I had a car, but it was just a hassle to have it and the valet was an extra $25 (kind of a rip-off). Piedmont Park is only a 15 minute walk and well worth a day of lounging.

| The old hotel was gorgeous. We were in a very nice two bedroom suite. They were confused at check in and tried to charge us more, but we had to let them know we had already prepaid with expedia. They did not have blankets or pillows for the sleeper sofa the first night we stayed, but managed to find blankets the second night. The main bathroom had trash in the drawers from previous occupant. The concierge was ultra helpful and nice -- the best thing about the hotel - went way out of his way to provide helpful info for my son who was there for job interviews. Good location and good experience, overall

| This historic hotel is very beautiful, but the quality of the rooms varies decidedly. Our "luxury suite" was small and cramped with a small bathroom and small kitchen. The kingsized bed had only one end table and lamp, so only one of us could read in bed. There were no curtains on the window, only Venetian blinds. An extremely noisy AC compressor beneath our window kept us up most of the night.
