Everything was great, the condo was very roomy, clean, and better looking then the photos on the internet. The grounds were beautiful and so well kept. We went for my moms 75th birthday and all she could say 10 times a day, everyday was "I can't believe how beautiful the rooms are and there are so many flowers surronding me. I can't believe this is real." The view of the ocean from the lanai was breathtaking, everything was so clean.

very nice hotel, good service but you may find a few critters in your room. Great beach location, but restaurants within walking distance are limited. There were many families staying here; (lots of screaming kids) if you are a honeymooning couple look elsewhere.

Great place to stay. Try to get a unit away from the street. The band across the street plays until 11:00 pm. Don't leave food around, the ants will get it.

This is a great value but the room is a lttle dated. If you are looking for conviences of home, this will fill the bill! The maid service is stellar but the carpet cleaners could use some help, the carpets were a little sticky from too much soap. Overall a great place to hang out! Can't wait to go back!

Each condo is individually owned, so quality of furnishings varies a lot. The bathroom in the condo that I stayed in could have been cleaner, i.e., cobwebs in window sills.

I was in love with this place from the minute I got there... gorgeous setting, one of the best beaches on Kauai, beautiful garderns, clean and airy room, peaceful lanai, gracious staff... Also loved the green expanse of lawn fronting the beach and being able to relax in the shade of the palm trees.

Overall this hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed at.It is located in the Poipu beach area, with about 9 resturants all in walking distance. The staff at the hotel is great. The room is like an apartment full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, bedroom, and a patio. The only downside is no air conditioning. They do have ceiling fans which make it comfortable to stay.

The hotel provides a casual environment with an excellent restaurant, beautiful beach with all amenities, a nearby tennis club with restaurant, and many scenic spots for camera buffs. We will miss the evening sunsets and the morning walks. The large areas of lawns, the varieties of birds that visited us on our decks, and the great service made for an unforgetable holiday.

This was the second time I took my girls to the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation condominiums. Each room has a full kitchen, which saved money and allowed me to relax while my kids ate cereal on some mornings. Plus there is daily maid service, so the room was always clean after a long day of play on the beautiful beach, which we were located on. It's not a fancy hotel, but it is very nice and comfortable!

Impressed by the beauty of the gardens even though it was early spring. The restaurant over looking the gardens and ponds were very relaxing while enjoying a excellant dinner and a mai tai. Our room was very relaxing with a beautiful view of the gardens and the ocean off of our lanai.

The hotel was great. The room was very clean, they provided beach towels and chairs, which was really nice. The only drawback was that they did not provide coffee packs in the room each day. This is a great place to stay if you wanted to cook in too. There are a limited number of places to eat near the condo, so that maybe a good choice.

Yes, its in a beautiful setting and yes its near the beach (which is small, narrow, and crowded), the room was uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning in the room we were given, our room was not serviced two days of our three day stay, and there were ants invading the bathroom and kitchen areas of our room. The concierge was not very helpful in addressing our needs and providing information, they wanted to sell you on their 'partners' in providing sightseeing activities rather than help you make the arrangements you want to. Our room phone rang several times from the front desk to make annoucements such as the water being turned off, to more 'pushing' from the concierge, and activities on the hotel compound. The phone calls were disturbing and at times unnecessary.

We loved the Kiahuna Plantation! The room we had was beautifully appointed, was very clean, and comfortable. The staff took very good care of us. There is a very nice lawn area fronting the ocean and several gas barbeques available for use by hotel guests. The beach was very nice and the reef just to the east had some of the best snorkeling of all the places we went on the island. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location - comfortable rooms, relaxing environ, friendly staff and prompt service when you need something. Great pool. Careful on which building you get a room in. Some are near the busy highway - road noise is an issue. Buildings closer to the water are better located but you pay more $$ obviously. The $1 charge for each outgoing phone call regardless of local or long distance was annoying. Didn't realize that until checkout. Overall, a nice place to use as homebase for the island.

The accomodations were excellent. The best parts of Kiahuna Plantation are the fabulous gardens and amazing landscaping. The fact that it's a hop and a skip to the beach makes it even better.

Kiahuna plantation is the best place possible to go! On the sunny south side, it's like tropical paradise! We go to Kauai every year, and Kiahuna is the only place we'll stay it. We love the rooms, the decor is beautiful inside and out. Your walk to the beach is relaxing with tropical paradise and Koi ponds everywhere, all the tropical plants, waterfalls....Trust me when I say, it doesn't get any better than the "KIAHUNA PLANTATION". You'll feel like you're in paradise! The place, the staff, EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!
