| The Hotel is close to the business district of Beaverton. It is an older hotel that could use some updating, but in good condition and well cared for. The ground are very nice and the restaurant served a very nice breakfast buffet.

| This hotel is old and past its prime. The carpets are worn looking, no elevator, the key-hole is missing from the doors and the old fashion keys used to unlock your room provide you all the information you need before you open the door. The bedding feels worn out and needs some refreshing.

| I had to wake up at 2am Sunday morning to travel (I had stopped in Portland for a few days) and when I got there early Saturday night, to get some sleep, they were holding a party in one of their banquet rooms directly across from my room (literally 10 feet from my door, I was the closest room). The sound was atrocious, with 2 pillows over my head I could still hear *everything*, I couldn't even hear my T.V. or make phone calls. When I asked for a room change, they said they couldn't and not to worry because the party would be over at 10pm. So I didn't end up getting to sleep until around 11:30 or 12:00 (the loud techno indeed stopped at 10, but they were still loudly confabulating until around 11:00) and had to wake at 2am. Obviously I am upset because I only got two hours of sleep. This was the worst business practice I have ever seen, no warning of the party, no sympathy...just "deal with it" (in so many words). I hope they made a lot of money at that party, because I come to Portland for several days a month and will never stay here again.

| The room is gnat infested. Iron, refrigerator and one bathroom heat lamp are either not working right or not at all. I got bed bugs bite. The room was not clean, it has evidence of previous occupant's hair. The building does not have an elevator and the staff does not tell you the easier way to get to your floor, which it would not matter if you are not carrying all your luggage to your room.

| Small but extremely clean, which is the most important to me. Also, easy location to find and to travel to/from to other parts of the city. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Good Chinese restaurant attached.

| The gardens, clean swimming/roman pools, and water fountains give the feeling you are staying at a quaint resort but at a hotel rate. Second stay here for me and will be back again!

| Pros: inexpensive large rooms, comfortable bed, complementary cookies & fruit in the lobby, non-restaurant staff were very nice, quiet, great iron & board, free parking, enough coffee supplies, air conditioning worked well Cons: ant infestation in bathroom & hall, window hard to open, refrigerator didn't work, limited free cable selection, no free breakfast as promised (chef ill), limited restaurant menu items
