Considering the price, the hotel is very good. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet, with free Internet and many TV channels (but not fridge and microwave oven). The included breakfast is good.

I have stayed many times at the La Quinta in Flagstaff. They have undergone some renovation and have upgraded the quality of linens and towels. Their mattresses weren't the most comfortable, but I anticipate those will be changed out next. Their continental breakfast is the best in the area and is worth the extra $ you pay. The staff is also friendly and accomodating. Positives: clean, new better linens and towels, great breakfast, have high-speed internet. Negatives: high-speed internet is not wireless, the batter that they use for their waffles needs an upgrade or the waffle irons need to cook at higher temps, mattresses are very stiff.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The hotel staff was attentive and pleasant. The only problem I had was that my bed preference was ignored. The staff offered to adjust and appropriately compensate me for my inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

La Quinta is not the best hotel in Flagstaff, but for families or leisure travellers who do not want to spend too much, I would recommend this one. What I liked about the hotel: Location: The hotel is located on a quiet dead-end street, but it is very close to restaurants, highways (I-40, I-17 and scenic 89A) and Northern Arizona Univ. Staff: The staff I came in contact with were friendly and courteous. Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast is provided from 7 to 10, which is good if you are not much of a morning person. It had quite a large spread too. What I didn't like: Not well maintained: The bathroom had a few dirty tiles, and the tub was stained. A/C: The A/C in my room was very inefficient and took more than 3 hours to cool the room. I stayed at this hotel for only a night and couldn't try their pool, gym or other facilities.

I've stayed at a lot of La Quinta's because of business travel and this is one of the best I've been to. Everything was clean and well maintained. The rooms were nice and there was free high speed internet.

The only two items that kept this Inn from being a 5 all the way across were: The front desk at check-in did not give correct information on the length of time for the Game Console. It was quoted as by the hour instead of one price for 12 hours. However, when the error was noted upon check-out, the bill for that amenity was credited off the account. The door to the suite I booked had been broken at the lock and frame at some prior time. The repair was shoddy and the door still had the tool marks (gouges) from the break-in and the door was very loose in the frame allowing it to move back and forth. I didn't feel very secure when leaving the room and my property was there unattended. At night I could only relax when the no-entry bar was placed in the closed position. While these items were unsatisfactory, the rest of my stay was as expected and above par.

This hotel was selected for a business trip to Flagstaff based on it's location and the availability of high speed internet access. The night I checked into the hotel, I noticed that all of the pillows in the hotel were feather pillows, and I am allergic to feathers. I called the front desk to request a foam or hypoallergenic pillow, and was told that they did not have any, and there was nothing they could do about it. I had to go to the Walmart across the street and buy a pillow and pillow case to use for my stay. I have never stayed at a hotel that either did not have foam or hypoallergenic pillows, or would not do anything to accomodate a guest.
