| Seems newly built, clean and in good repair. A well-lit retail area w/ lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Room was a little small, had a desk but no dining table at which to sit. A/C worked well, (usually it was too cold), but was loud. Fair amount of traffic noise was audible even over the A/C. We didn't partake in the continental breakfast, but I did see an uninspired spread of breads, fruit, yogurt, & instant oatmeal--the usual fair but I've seen better. The dining area for the breakfast had tiny tables placed close togther, very cramped. On the plus side, it's across the street from a Krispy Kreme shop! The WORST thing about this hotel (and the reason I'd never stay there again) was the mattresses were too soft & sagged (I am 5'6" 125 lbs and shared the bed w/ my 5 yr old). My back hurt the next morning, but then again I'm used to a firm mattress. I was uncomfortable. The shower drain was slow, resulting in a few inches of standing water at the end of my shower. Chose this place because it had my dates available, but wouldn't stay again.

| This hotel seems to cater to cruise ship passengers and mostly people passing through. It works well for a short stay, but I would not recommend to spend your week's vacation here. The continental breakfast is pretty standard...good enough to get you going in the morning.

| Perfect condition hotel, it has a perfect location, we love it.It would be much better if they add like a lobby bar, but everything was perfect.

| If you are looking for a decent hotel and don't care to be on the ocean or in the middle of South Beach, this is a good choice. It's less than a half hour (in typical traffic) from Miami Int'l Airport and is convenient to the turnpike. The hotel itself has easy access; and there are food (fast) and necessity shopping (CVS) choices very nearby. I stayed at the beginning of January 2006, and I believe I saw a sign saying the Baymont was purchased by La Quinta, so that might change things somewhat.

| The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The office manager was very helpful. He helped us order a cab for our early morning trip to the airport.

| The hotel is very good, but the bus to the airport starts to work at 7:00 am. It should starts earlier.

| We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The staff in the hotel were very helpful. The room was very confortable and clean, beds were soft and comfortable. Excellent location for shopping and dining options were wonderful.Over-all we would go back.

| The shuttle bus service is not always available. I was instructed by the hotel to call when I had arrived at the hotel. I called the hotel twice but needless to say the shuttle bus never showed up. I had to take a cab to the hotel. However, the hotel 's web site states that they had shuttle bus service.

| For me, you need to have the bathroom separated from the room and to have the mirror and the bathroom sink as part of the room is a mayor turn-off. Also, the room does not have a telephone near the bed, they have one on the desk, with a large cable! For the price I paid, I think I was robbed.

| Hotel and room in fairly good shape. Television could use more channels. Wendy's which gave good service was within walking distance. Several guest could not speak English, but front desk employees could. Most housekeepers only spoke Spanish sometimes difficult to communicate with. Service from front desk could have been a lot better. They didn't seem to want to be bothered by me. Hotel van from airport to hotel needs improvement. Van drove past me and left without me though I was where I was told to be at. Van to airport was OK.

| For the price the hotel is in very good condition, friendly staff, good breakfast and free internet in the lobby. It is only minutes away from some of the large shopping centers and restaurants and just a short drive to Coral Gable.

| This hotel is really good for people that goes to miami for pleasure or business and isnt staying at the hotel the whole day. It's centrally located and close to different malls. Also its position makes it posible to travel all over to miami and even go to fortlauderdale. Overall it is a good choice. The whole reservation was made through expedia and everything went smoothly.

| Besides the overall impression of the hotel(clean, well kept, spacious room,etc.,), the staff was very friendly and courteous. When they say continental breakfast they do mean it!! No doubt I would book here again.

| This hotel had just about everything we needed! We were no where near downtown Miami or South Beach but that wasn't the reason for our trip either. The Baymont Inn had a small, decent pool... Which wasn't kept up the best, but worked for what we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the airport transfer was a huge help. If you are looking for a decent hotel in the Doral Area, I would definitely suggest the Baymont Inn.
