The Red Feather was a nice place to stay. It's very close to the Canyon, and the front desk people were very helpful. My only complaints would be the beds were a little on the hard side, and the continental breakfast was underwhelming.

This nice, clean hotel is close to the Grand Canyon National Park entrance. The front desk staff were super friendly. The free continental breakfast had instant oatmeal and donuts which were a hit with both my small children. The room itself was clean, cool and comfortable, with a window that opened easily for fresh air. Although we were upstairs, it was not a long walk to load and unload luggage. Should we get the chance to visit the Grand Canyon again, we will use this hotel again!

It used to be this was the only viable hotel in the Grand Canyon but with several major chains opening hotels nearby in recent years, this is probably not the best value for your money.

This is a good hotel I would recomend to anybody. It's close to the park and the front desk has nice personal. They help you with the planning of the trip and with everything else if you need help. It's clean and everything you need is there. It's no luxus but nice.

We had some problems with equipment in our room, but the staff took care of it quickly. Even a manager got involved. The people worked hard to make sure things were right with extra pillows and towels when requested. The pool wasn't much and opened later than I wanted, but the Canyon was great. Small but quiet lobby and fair breakfast - bagels, muffins, oatmeal, juice etc.. Check out too early (11:00am)and check in too late (4:00pm) but wasn't an issue for us.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was clean and comfortable. It is really close to the "happenings" at the Grand Canyon. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast which was included in the cost of the room was a make-shift effort in a very small room far too small to accomodate the numbers of guests and the food ran out long before all guests had eaten. For the price charged for the night, this was well below what was acceptable.

When there's no traffic backlog, you're 5 minutes away from getting into the park. It was no more or less than we were expecting. Breakfast was disappointing but being so close to the park more than made up for that.

Spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast with coffee and croissants. Some problem we had was with our bathtub - it had a drain hole that would not stick in open position so we had to keep it popped up when we had our bath. Our phone didn't work either but there is a payphone in the lobby. Upside is nice, less expensive location just outside of GC south rim entrance - Tusayan has a few good pasta, pizza and steak places. But the buffet lunch at Canyon Star just across Rodeway Inn was a big let down.

Good location, but that is it. No parking around rooms. Run down carpets and building. HBO??? - very funny - it was hard to find a watchable TV channel. As I said, the only positive thing that is close to the Grand Canyon, but that does not put this place in it's price range.

A decent hotel, but rather expensive due to its close location to the Grand Canyon. A fridge in the room would have been nice, since it was quite warm.

One stays here because they are visiting the Grand Canyon and hotels within the park are filled or more expensive. Williams is a bit of a drive away, but if your plans allow it is much more affordable to stay there.
