| The hotel is in excellent condition, the room was large and the fitness center and pool were excellent. One of the nicest features is that it's located a few steps from the metro, making it easy to get just about anywhere in the DC area.

| Overall, this hotel was fine. Only room problem was worn mattress. My wife and I had to strain not to roll into the middle. Also, pool was so small that child was only able to use it once due to overcrowding.

| Right across the street to the Metro! Also, very clean area. Close to a nice area to eat and shop if you like that kind of thing. The hotel is biz oriented. I wouldn't take my family there unless it was a real good price.

| This "hotel" is really more of a motel. It has no functional lobby, sundries store or useable business center. It is very convenient to the Metro, but not to the rest of old town Alexandria (at least 8-10 blks away). For the price there are certainly better values. Charging $10 a day for internet reminds me of the old days when some motels used to charge for TV use. Except for its handy location in the hotel, the restaurant is not to be taken seriously. Staff was very helpful, and the rooms were always clean. Close call, but I can't recommend it. I would definitely try another place the next time I'm in the area.

| Despite renovations going on just off the lobby, there was no evidence of construction dust anywhere. The staff were personable and helpful. The room was a nice surprise: Even though I had seen it on webcam before booking, the room was more than I'd hoped. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. Bed and bath linen were soft and ample in size.

| Overall, I enjoyed my one night stay here while attending an event in DC. The hotel is a stone's throw from the King Street metro station and the staff is very courteous. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. My only complaints are that our king sized bed was a bit uncomfortable (very comfy pillows though), and if there was someone in the corridor you could hear every word they said. (We did not have our heating/cooling system on however, and this may drown out some of that noise.) If you are looking for a nice, convenient place to catch some zzz's, I recommend it.

| Although the meal prices were a bit high the other amenities outweighed this. The convenience of the Metro allowed frequent visits to Crystal City, Chinatown (yum) and Union Station for meals. The best part, other than the hotel, was the location of the Metro. Definitely get the passes that allow you to travel unlimited times and during rush hour.

| This hotel is located right near the King St Metro Station, therefore very convenient for travel to the city. The pool is small and not very deep and there is only a sauna no whirlpool. Even though I like those amenties it wouldn't stop me from staying here again. The room was spacious and kept very clean. Noise was non existent. If you don't mind walking to dinner, you'll love this location. The hotel is about 14 or so blocks from the waterfront.

| Besides being very clean and quiet, this hotel sits on a great location. Across the street from the Metro station, with an entertaining cocktail/restaurant located within the premisis, I'd stay here on vacation anytime. Hotel itself is still a good seventeen blocks to the waterfront but each block has several restaurants or antique shops. Probably stay here again.

| The Hilton Old Town Alexandria was a great choice for us because we were able to get in and out of Washington D.C. very easily without a car. The King Street Metro Stop is across the street from the hotel and provided easy access to the sights of D.C. The hotel is about 10-15 blocks from the "downtown" shops of Old Town Alexandria, translating into a 20-30 minute walk to the waterfront. All in all, it was a great choice for us and I would recommend it strongly.
