The hotel is wonderful. There are several things to do at the hotel without going anywhere else. If you are planning on making the trip to the strip be prepared to spend alot of money on cab fare and be prepared to wait on one to take you back. most of the cabs would not take me back to the hotel because it was too far.

Check in was quick. I had a standard room, but this room was great - I had a really attractive headboard with lights above - can you believe that, in a casino-hotel, to have a wonderful reading light above the bed. The room was much nicer and cleaner than my room at the Texas Station that I paid almost twice as much for. One complaint was that the shuttle to the hotel/casino does not run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (or something like that). So I took a cab - and the taxi driver "long-hauled" me, even though I told him he was going to wrong way. I should have reported him - but the point is that the hotel's shuttle could use some work. I did use the shuttle back to the airport without incident. The Sunset Station was a pleasant suprise. I often stay at the Station chain because I like their fortune Pai Gow, the lower table minimums ($5 BJ and 10x craps). I would highly recommend the Sunset - keep in mind you are no-where near the strip.

Very nice; the mini-suite is great, a little more spacious than a regular room, plus, it has a mini-fridge, separate sinks in the bathroom. Recently refurbished with new carpeting.
