We stayed here for 4 nights during April. There were several of us and we were given adjoining rooms at our request. Each room had a clean refrigerator and new microwave.I was relieved to find a clean, comfortable room that was close to all of the beautiful sights in Southern Florida. Renting a car is a must if staying here. This is a great deal for someone who wants to be in this area and doesnt want to pay the hefty prices that the other area hotels charge. Ill be back agsin and will recommend to friends!!!

Room was pretty basic, but it was clean and quiet--our two main criteria since we didn't plan to spend much time in the room. Beds were comfortable. Our room showed some signs of wear and tear, but for the price during Spring Break week, we were very satisfied.

we were very pleased with the hotel except for the woman who failed to greet us when we checked in. She was rude and so my first impression was not the best!! But then we enjoyed our stay and had no other complaints except for the housekeeping staff who shouted to each other while we were trying to relax at the pool.

I was suprised at the quality for the price. Eventhough it's not a five star hotel, the Boca Plaza was neat and comfortable. easy to get to and close to many things.

My kids were allowed to be kids in the pool area and lobby. we will be returning again in the future. The hotel is very nice for the price . Remember this is not five star but the rating is genuine.

I stayed when I took my daughter to college and the subsequent parents weekend. I found the hotel accommodating, comfortable, reasonable in price and close to shopping and restaurants.I liked the tropical decor. I particularly liked the restaurant in the hotel. The food was homestyle, good and reasonably priced.

I stayed here for just one night. I received a free upgrade to a larger room with a king size bed. The room offered virtually everything. It was clean, and I could walk out of my patio onto the walkway which led to the pool area. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The service is bad, my room was cleaned only three times during 8 days of stay, two bath towels for 4 people, I had to buy my own toilet tissue, because there was only one small roll at a time provided, a very small box of facial tissue(klinex)with may be 10-15 tissues, the hotel lacks professional personnel who don't exactly know how to handle guest's request, as an explanation: I was supposed to check out on 7/15/2005, and due to an emergency(unexpected death in the family in Miami), I needed to stay one more night and check out on the 16th, I notified the front desk and registered on 7/14/2005 for one extra night by phone, I also went to the front loby on Thursday(7/14) to make sure and to confirm it. On friday morning and after lack of sleep, and the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on the door, someone came around 10:00AM asking me if I was going to check out, and was asked to go to the loby and pay for the room by reregistering the extra day again, this became the third time I registered the same extra night.

We were a family of 4. Stayed one night. Location is good, grounds & pool are very nice, front desk staff was pleasant. The room we had was pretty bad. Run down caulking, dirty walls, old carpet. We had requested a non-smoking room & the one we got smelled horrible. Couldn't change because hotel was full. We left behind two items--one was a baby pillow. We called 3 times to talk to housekeeping immediately once we realized it was left & were never called back after 3 attempts. Even left a message w/hotel manager who never called back. We physically drove back to the hotel from Orlando to get the pillow. We went to housekeeping to look in their lost & found. Bottom line is they had no lost & found & had thrown out the pillow because it "looked like garbage" (even though it had a nice ruffle around it & was laying on a bed.)They managed to remember it was there but didn't manage to keep it? Our daughter was devastated.

We visited this hotel for our honeymoon, and could not have been more pleased! The hotel is gorgeous, and easy to find on a main road if you drive. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in finding places for us to go. One downfall was that we had no car, and could only go wiithin an easy walking distance, so we were limited to activities. But the hotel is less than a mile away from the gorgeous beach, which we visited everyday! The shuttle service was very convenient, but was only available on a first come, first serve basis. But most people there have cars, so it was not that difficult to catch a ride to wherever we needed to go. It was especially helpful getting back to the airport, which saved us $60 on a taxi! ( which we had to take to get to the hotel since the shuttle can only drop you off there) Overall, the hotel is great, our only complaint were little gnats in the room that came out if you leave a drink by your nightstand at night. Having cable helped on the couple days it rained a little, we were very cozy and comfortable in our room watching talk shows all morning! We will probably go back on an anniversary!

This resort made you feel like you were at home, The pool was nicely heated, the hot tub could have been a little warmer but there are families with young children that stay so that could be a reason. The hotel does provide transportation in advance if you do not have a car.

Although superficially attractive, the service and maintenance at this hotel was woefully lacking. Our room was very dirty (huge stains on the rug, cobwebs on the walls, peeling tiles in the bathroom, linen that looked as if it had been slept in) and the staff was less than helpful. When arriving in the dining room for breakfast shortly after it's scheduled opening time, we were asked what in the world we wanted, as if food were not an option there, and then told nothing was ready---not even coffee. Given my medical condition that required I eat at that time, this was a totally unpleasant surprise. Only after turning on several TVs in the lounge,(obviously her only priority) was the single woman working there even willing to acknowledge our presence.

We checked into hotel late in the evening (reservation requested NONSMOKING ROOM) Desk attendant checked us in quickly but gave us a smoking room. Did not offer to tell us where the luggage carriers were located. We carried our luggage up to a very smelly room. Had to go back down to front desk and request a NON SMOKING Room. He gave us another room. The room was very dark. Very little good lighting. Light bulbs were missing in lamps - carpet was very dingy; definitely needed replacement. Found clothing behind couch from a previous resident. Windows were dirty. Would never stay there again. Even though we only slept in the room, at least it could have more pleasant.

The hotel was great.---the internet in the lobby allowed me to keep in touch without having to use my laptop. The set-up was complete and included a fax and printer. The Tiki-bar at the pool is a must to go to. The pool bar sandwiches were great and enough to share. A short mile walk to the beach was good exercise.(they have a small exercise room--but We didn't use it.) Plenty of family resturants near by. A great place to go to if you want to relax and do nothing.
