Good hotel for the price (I had an expedia discount). Right on the beach, did not have to find parking. Hotel front desk staff was less than helpful though. Though I had requested a king bed/ no smoking, I got the complete opposite, so that was unappealing, but if you are willing to look pass those aspects, it was an enjoyable place to sleep (plus the food in the bar wasn't that bad either :)!

We stayed here for a long weekend. the location was nice, right across from the beach and a really nice deck resturant and bar with veiw of the beach. but the rooms were not that good. the beds were really uncomfortable, and our shower wouldn't drain good. so you were standing in 4" of water while you showered.

Other than the shower head being so low (You'll see) and the remote control did not work and the bathroom door wouldnt shut, it was nice place very good location if you are going for the weekend, pool was clean and the second you walk out the front door of the hotel there is the beach. Staff is OK but it basically a 1st come 1st serve situation. Overall i would stay here again.

We did not enjoy the hotel so much but it was OK because we spent most of the day on the beach. The hotel is somewhat rundown. Our AC barely worked. We had to call for toilet paper and clean towels. The elevator is dark and scary. The hallways are not air conditioned and therefore extremely hot. The pool area is nice and the Deck restaurant was great. The food and waiters/waitresses were really nice.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was taken aback by the security guard (in uniform) in the lobby. The room was nice, although the surrounding area, especially in the back, was unattractive. Amenities were top quality. I was a bit miffed when the desk clerk refused my request to run off boarding passes, claiming he had no internet service...I had already been told by another clerk that service was available. Overall, a gem in questionable surroundings.

Really not impressed but where to begin. The view over the neighhbouring hotel backyard which contained old disgarded matresses and trash. The hot water failing on the Saturday morning for the remainder of the weekend. The phone not working in the room. Broken beds, unclean sheets, tiny bathroom (could not stand up straight in shower!), and finally to top it off the half dead cockroach who had also obviously had enough of the hotel!! All was reported to management at the time of stay.

While the location is ideal, the rooms need some cleaning and updating. Our room was very musty smelling, carpets and furniture seemed dirty. The hotel is old, but with a little refurbishing, this place could be ideal.

This is a horrible example of hotel. The room was filthy! The whole place was filthy. The noise was terrible. We went two days with no towels. Then, I went down to ask. They gave me dirty beach towels instead of bath towels, didn't understand why I was upset. Nasty, Nasty place!! No bar, under rehab. This place needs to be shut down. I had to work on the air conditioning myself.

We read the reviews, and figured that you get what you pay for. What you must remember is that you're at a beach town, and every hotel is more costly. Like the other reviews, our room was scattered with litter, and the bathroom had dirty towels on the floor. If we didn't happen to arrive at 4:30 AM, we would have caused a scene when we arrived rather than falling asleep. If we hadn't been so tired, we may have asked for another room. We learned a lesson, at least. The wait staff (not the concierge) was inattentive at best, and we didn't want the cleaning crew doing more harm than good. Do yourself a favor and stay at a franchised hotel. Good location, but a coastal motel they forgot to shut down.

If you don't plan on spending any time in this hotel, it can be a cost-effective choice. However, if you have any reservations about living in a slum while on vacation I recommend that you avoid it. From the dirty front entrance of the hotel through the musty halls to the rickety back staircase, this building was nothing short of atrocious.

Needless to say, I was not happy with this place. In one room, the balcony door wouldn't lock. The rooms and halls smelled old and moldy. The elevator was suspect as to when or how it would operate. I never felt comfortable even being in the facility. I moved my group down the street the same night we checked in, just so we could feel secure.

There were two notable problems. The first is that the beds desperately need replacing. We stayed in two different rooms, and in both, the beds were in bad shape. The second is that you don't want the room near the bar. It constantly smells like smoke, and the noise is quite audible.Otherewise, a nice little place right on the beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

This hotel is quite underrated. It has a prime location in the middle of hotel zone, right on a beach. Ten minutes walk to "beach place" and to Las Olas Boulevard. It is even closer to shopping mall and bunch of small shops and restaurants at the intersection with Sunrise and Atlantic. Rooms are old but equipped and everything was in working order. There is small free parking lot on the back. Personal was friendly. Rooms are quite different: back of this hotel is much more comfortable then the front. If you are staying longer then one night, ask to switch rooms. The pool is in a shadow, so do not count on it in a winter time.

We checked in on Friday afternoon. The room had been made up, but someone had used it after that leaving an empty suitcase. The sink in the bathroom would not drain. We notified the desk and they assured us they would take care of it right away. We reminded them twice each day with no results. On Monday morning, after we asked again, three men came and tried to repair the plumbing, tearing the pipes apart and replacing the trap while we waited to shower so that we could check out. The front desk called to tell us that we needed to check out by noon. I told them that we would be most happy to check out as soon as we could use the sink! The men finally left after a couple of hours, not having fixed the drain. When we did check out, they proceeded to charge our credit card $2.00 per day for a little security box in our room that we did not even know was there. I would think, in the interest of good customer service, that after 3 days of brushing our teeth over standing water, key cards that only opened the door after repeated efforts, and towels that looked like they had been used to clean the bottom of the pool, $6.00 plus tax for a box no one ever mentioned was the last straw! When we remarked how surprised we were with the quality of a Ramada Inn, we were told they had nothing to do with Ramada Inn. As an owner of a small business for 25 years, with employees who specialize in customer service, it is my opinion that the old Sea Club has a dim future.

The hotel is no longer affiliated with Ramada according to the hotel. Our bathroom was never cleaned during our 4 night stay - only the beds were made, garbage emptied and towels replaced (but never a full set for 2).Our TV remote was never replaced after 3 notifications it wasn't working. The hotel is not in the best of shape - very old for the area. For a quick, inexpensive needed getaway - it served it's purpose, but would not voluntarily choose this hotel.

We had reservations for 5 nights. One night was all we could take. The hotel was on awful condition, the staff was rude and inattentive. The staff had booked the hotel to local high school teenagers for an all night after home coming party. The staff and kids ran around the halls drinking, yelling, breaking pictures and banging on our door as well as other patrons. The hotel finally became quiet around 4 am. In the morning we complained to staff as well as several other people and the staff acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. We should have called the police during the night instead of the staff becausse the staff was participating in the parties!!
