Stayed at the C/House and had a great stay. Staff was very helpfull when the airline lost our luggage. The room was clean, and the maid service was just what we expected, towels& trash daily - sheets changed middle of the week. We already plan on staying there next year when we ski. Ask at the front desk for a log for the fireplace! Great places to eat close by. The "Rail Trail" is just across the parking lot for a nice stoll to downtown in the afternoon. And with snow on the mountain a "spiritual experience" walking back at sunset! All in all a great time.

My wife and I stayed at Carriage House for a full weekright before the Sundance festival in early January. I wasnt sure exactly what to expect but the management staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were clean, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this to others.

We booked this hotel then read some reviews and were worried about what we would find there. It turned out that this hotel is a great value. Location is great. Price is right. We had a bedroom, living room and kitchen. It was clean and comfortable. If you want to save your money for having fun, this hotel is perfect.

We've enjoyed a lot staying there. Heating system is good - not like ordinary heating system blowing dry hot air with loud sound, and full kitchen was very helpful for our family with kids.

Our 2 bed 2 bath (New Claim development) was nicely decorated with every amenity a family of 5 could want. Maid service was fine, fresh towels, beds made, cleaned every day. A big disappointment was the spa being out of service and no one working on it while we were there. Easy to get to/from skiing.

the carriage house looks quite nice. unfortunately we were across the street at the new claims condos. a misnomer since new claims is far from new. however, our room #310 was redone with a kitchen, paint, carpet, and bathrooms except forthe fixtures. this proved to be a problem when the main shower/tub hot water handle broke. one toilet also backed up, but was promptly repaired . the house cleaning staff was courteous and efficient. the place was clean and without odors. the beds were comfortable. the overall size was very small but we were out skiing and/or shopping most of the day. you get what you pay for.... if you want nicer or bigger condos pay for them. there are very few "bargains" in park city.

After reading the other reviews, I was very hesitant to use the Carriage House. It turned out to be one of the few that had rooms available yet close to a filled conference hotel. I took the chance, and was very pleased with everything. It appeared to me that the entire facility had been recently renovated. Everything was spotless and I had a kitchen, even though I only made coffee. They even provided filters.

I was booked for 6 nights and 4 out of the 6 days my bed was left unmade the floors we not cleaned once I spept them myself and day 4 the maid finally noticed the pile. The only positve thing about them maid service was we had clean towels every day. No customer reps there after 5 for help. You get a coffee pot but only one complimentary bag of coffee for your first day, the rest you have to pay for. In a nutshell I wish I had spent a little more for quality.

Non smoking room smelled terrible. "Maid service" consisted of pulling the comforter up and replacing some of the towels.

We wanted a very cheap vacation- and treated this room as a place just to sleep. If this is all you want this is worth the savings. This hotel was very inexpensive- but the room was a little dirty, mattress was very old, traffic was loud- I might spend a little more money for a room that I'd hang out in next time. We didn't opt to check the hot tub or pool- the hot tub looked a little dirty.

My Kitchenette was very nice. I was pleased with the bed and the overall decor. The mini "kitchen" was minimal but satisfactory for one. The location was great - on the free bus line, in walking distance of a variety of restaurants and one short block from the Utah State liquor/wine store. It was well worth the price overall. I booked the same acommendations for the next month.
