This is a reasonably priced motel in a convenient location to Downtown Nashville. An older facility with room access through outside doors off of a balcony. Nothing really fancy, but it serves it's purpose for lodging. The room I had was very nice --- better than expected from the outside appearance of the building. The best feature in the room was the bed, which was a king size bed with a pillow top type mattress that was both firm and comfortable at the same time. The bed was furnished with 6 very nice/plush pillows, something you might expect to see in a more upscale motel. Valet parking is provided to guests at no charge, and your car is parked on site where you can easily access it if you need it -- no waiting to get your car out. One elevator in the building to access upper floors which seemed a bit slow, and prompted me to take the stairs a couple of times. A free continental breakfast was served in the morning, which was nice. A good selection, nothing fancy. Don't expect bacon and eggs. This appears to be a well maintained, older facility in a prime location within walking distance to just about all downtown businesses, Painters Alley, etc. Don't expect frills here, but the beds are awesome and the property seemed to be well secured.

I was very inpressed with this hotel considering the price paid. It is right in downtown close to everything within walking distance despite the fact that it sits on a hill( you might want to consider if you plan on walking everywhere.) THe breakfast had a wide variety to chose from and the valet parking was nice also. I will consider this hotel again if I am ever staying in Nashville again!!

We were probably more impressed with the hotel staff than the accomodations. Everyone was very helpful. We especially enjoyed the 24 hr valet parking. We would probably stay there again if we make another trip to downtown Nashville. It is centrally located near the tourist sites in town.

The carpets were in major need of cleaning. Our feet were covered in black from just walking from the bed to the bathroom. The front desk staff was not very friendly & not much help. We called down to the desk to ask where the closest store was and she gave us directions to a Walgreens...that's sounds great except for the fact that once we got down to the lobby we noticed that a full convienent store/deli is attached to the hotel. The one thing that was great was the valet parking. That was really nice!

The location of the hotel was perfect for our overnight stay because we were heading to the District and the Ryman Auditorium, both of which were within walking distance. There is also a convenience store located off of the lobby, which was very handy. The breakfast was more than I expected, but basically your average hotel continental set-up. My only main complaint was with the cleanliness of our room. The bathtub particularly looked as if it hadn't been cleaned and made showering a little uncomfortable. Other than that, the room was nice and the beds were comfy.

Although this hotel is not "state of the art" we found it to be clean, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, and close to downtown restaurants. The saugage gravey at the complimentary breakfast was great!! We did have a great selection of television channels and high speed internet. The motel has just been around for a while and the wear is beginning to show. But, the wonderful people who work there nore than make up the difference.

The Best Western Downtown Convention Center hotel was in a great location. It is only a few blocks from some really great points in Downtown Nashville. A group of us stayed there on New Year's Eve and I understand that there was a justified reason for the high price, but the room was rather small. I would stay in a different hotel next time, but there was nothing "bad" about this hotel. Their was a nice convenient store connected to the hotel.

Reserved a King but could not get it. Very dated design, outside room entrances, small rooms, very small elevator and slow. Informations states hotel 3 blocks from Convention center, someone needs to count better. Hotel not reasonable walking distance from Convention Center or Gaylord Entertainment Center. Walking to downtown activities tolerable but walking back to hotel late not advised. Staff very friendly but not enough to make up for dated layout and distances.

The hotel was a bit older but my room was very clean and nice. All the people working in the hotel where very plesant and polite. As for the price, of the 7 downdown hotels within walking distance to the convention center this was the most reasonable! You are within walking distance to so many things in the area it just made sence to me to stay here, that and of course the price.

I found this hotel to be very lacking in basic services and cleanliness. The tub in my room was dirty, pitted, and had a crack that someone had tried to repair with caulking. The room was not clean and there was little water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was scant and had little to offer. The mandatory valet parking was cumbersome. I would not stay in this hotel again.

The Best Western Downtown Convention Center is an older hotel that shows its wear and tear. But there are pluses. The free breakfast has good ole' Southern-style biscuits and gravy available in addition to more common "continental breakfast" fare. The muffins were good and the waffle iron and mix turned out very tasty waffles. More importantly for this user, the hotel has high speed internet, both ethernet in the rooms and wi-fi in the common spaces (wi-fi worked in my room but not at maximum efficiency so I used the ethernet connection). The room was cramped but functional. The bathroom was older style and the shower curtain had some mildew on it. All in all, it was a great place to plop my head during a conference that accounted for my hours from 8 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. daily. The bed was comfortable and the hvac was effective. For a conference at the convention center, I'd gladly go back. It was only a two block walk to the convention center and four blocks to Printer's Alley.

This is really a motel, with room entrances facing exterior walkways on all levels. Rooms are clean, but relatively small and dated. Breakfast is marginal, and our maid failed to replace towels or amenities, which was not a happy surprise when we went to shower the next day. Front desk and valet staff were pleasant and helpful -- the highlight of our stay.

The checkin experiance was good, nice friendly people who even allowed us to check in early. The bathtub took about a half hour or so to drain and while taking a shower you had to stand in the dirty water. The housekeeper kept waking us up to clean our room on our last day even after being told we would be checking out by 11 am. When checking out we were never asked how our stay was and when I tried to let them know about the bathtub the checkout staff would not even let me finish and just said I had to fill out a comment card.
