This place was filthy. It didn't look like the floor had been swept or bathroom mopped when the last guest stay. The worse part is, we must have killed at least 50 ants; they were everywhere. The tv and area behind it looked as if it hadn't been dusted in months. The towels smelled; luckily I'd brought our own. There was trash in the drawers (a ziplock containing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich) and there was spilt coffee from past guests on the counters. The sink and tub were dirty. The toliet rocked. The refrigerator had something spilled inside. I wished I looked at this site before reserving the room. The people who worked the desk were very friendly. But it didn't make up for the heat not working and the general room needing maintenance and cleaning. They had a gym but that looked nasty too. There was even gum on the headboard.

Yeah it's run down and the rooms are not the nicest, but for the price you can't do much better. The staff is friendly. I travel fairly often and have stayed in much worse for more money.

not at all impressed with this hotel, its atmosphere, grounds, or services. Ice was only available in the lobby's small kitchen area in a back room that was dirty, the beds were not the standard the appropriate sizes, very small and the room's a/c was not working and was 80 degrees all night, the tub did not work to hold water for my kids bath. The only bonus was the Eat N Park next door.

I was looking for a cheap night's lodging and that is what I received. If you can live with an older, drab room, thin towels and the occasional cob-web in the corner, than this is the place for you. If you are used to the finer things in a hotel room, then pay a little more and stay someplace else. The bed was comfy and I felt safe and secure. The hotel personnel I came in contact with were very helpful and pleasant.

The positive thing about this hotel was its proximaty to Post Gazette Pavillion and the pleasant attitude of the front desk attendent. The negative thing about this hotel was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I felt it was under par. The airplanes flying over were driving me crazy but that is to be expected at the "Airport Plaza." The price was great for the quality.

The bathroom was disgusting on our first room. The tv wasnt working and they finally changed our rooms at 11pm at night. Oh the tv worked in this one but it was crummy. The bathroom still not as clean as it should have been but tolerable. No plug in either tub talk about hard trying to bathe a 9 month old and a 3 year old without a tub stopper. The floors old carpet that harbored a ton of dirt. The walls were filthy. Oh and I forgot to mention when they changed our rooms they forgot to notate it. So after comming back to our hotel to nap after a funeral, complete strangers walk into our room. Why? Oh because they forgot to put it into the computer. Never Ever Ever again will I Ever stay there you get what you pay for and although cheap oy it was horrible!

I guess this hotel was recently bought. The price is excellent but it needs a little sprucing up. It was fine for what we wanted but definitely looks better in the online picture than in reality. All in all it didnt look like 2 1/2 stars, but it has the potential.

This hotel is not a quality hotel. Rooms are old and have not been renovated. Lobby and pictures on web site may appear nice, but that is it.Acutally had a chewed up piece of gum stuck to alarm clock! Dirty tissues on bedstand, poor service and no cable. TV had to be vintage 80's and had to be plugged in. Outlets on wall loose and probably would not pass an inspection. Most devices weren't even plugged in. Towels were old and very unpleasant to use. Leaky faucet in shower, etc...Free parking is not included if you plan on flying out and leaving your car at the hotel instead of airport. Only while you stay. We had an early flight and was looking to get a shuttle to terminal and avoid time to park car and walk in to airport.I belive you get what you pay for and this place owes me for the night we stayed...

We were given a personal wake up call and since we didn't realize it was automated and hung up right away, the front desk called back 1/2 later to make sure we were up. Everything was done to accommodate our needs personally from that wake up call to the airport shuttle. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

This hotel had just reopened and supposedly had been remodeled. The lobby was beautiful, but that's where it ends. They would have been better off directing their attention to replacing mattresses, and carpets--even a good cleaning would have helped.

If I had not pre-paid on Expedia, I would have canceled this reservation upon arrival. Although the staff I encountered were friendly, I would say that overall it was a totally disappointing stay. Everything is in disarray at the property, they sent me to 3 different rooms before I found one that was actually ready for a guest. And, I think I was one of only a small handful of guests that night. It seems that there are new owners trying to renovate, but I didn't see any evidence of decent money or a plan. The uphosltery, bedspreads, and carpet were worn/stained. The continental breakfast was practically non-existent, but again I think there were only a couple guests. The 2 1/2 star rating is wrong. I say 1 star.
