The room had all the basics but smelled kinda stuffy with some air freshener that was too strong, couldn't get away from that odor. Other than an extremely skimpy breakfast (hey, how about a sweet roll or granola?) acceptable for the room rate.

I had ants in the bathroom and on the dresser. I overheard other travelers saying they had ants in their room also. The shower did not have any water pressure. The water temperature was either hot or cold, nothing in between. The paint in the shower was peeling off of the wall. The swimming pool was freezing because the sun never hits it even in the summer time. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotels overall conditions are a little run-down. The room was adequate-the bathrooms need work. Extremely well located-about 1 mile(15-20 minute-walk) form the Convention Center. The package did include breakfast, which was adequate. All-in-all its a matter of $$$ and how much time you will be spending in the room.

Stayed for a couple of nights, great place to stay for the price. Near the mall and a lot of eating places... Not enough parking in the hotel, but there is a parking lot across the street. Would stay here again...

Going to a Microsoft convention with my notebook and finding this hotel had unsecured WiFi was a bonus! The only problem was the barely functioning and noisy AC. I would go back: the price was right and cloe enough to down town to walk.

I have very few complaints about The Quality Inn in Downtown LA! The beds were extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING. The staff was always willing to help if we needed it. When we walked in it was being cleaned, so we knew we were OK with cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast was also pretty good, but we only did that on one of the days. One reason I would not suggest this hotel is the neighborhood. There was never any problems, it just left us with a little bit of an uneasy feeling at night. The hotel always felt safe, though. The air quality in the room was the only other complaint. We had our air on high the whole time and would come back after a full day of sightseeing and it would still be hot. Also, the selection of television channels is limited. Other than that, it was a great hotel for the price.

Overall I found this place to be a very nice place to spend a night. I had come to Los Angeles to attend a concert on Hollywood Blvd, and found this to be just what I needed for overnight. I found the staff to be courteous and willing to help when needed.

This is definitely the worst hotel I've been in. The room smelled like mold, mildew and disinfectant. The carpet was filled with stains and the tile in the bathroom was broken in several places. There was no hot water and what hot water there was smelled like chlorine and the sewer. While I was there they scheduled a large party in the ballroom (which was right under my room) Since the floors are very thin the party was basically in my room...until 11pm! The service there was...oh, sorry, there was no SERVICE! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the restaurant on site. Unfortunately the web information did not advise that the restaurant was not open or room service not available. My room had small ants in the vanity area which were not cleaned up when requested, but it wasn't enough to never go back. The price was good, and the location close enough to the Convention Center to walk (in daylight).Everything else was as expected and I will check there again for rooms for my next trip to LA.

The hotel is more of a motel in terms of class of rooms and service. I was shocked to find out that parking in the actual hotel is limited (maybe a dozen spots) but there is additional spaces across the street. This wasn't an issue until the clerk explained you needed a remote to get into the lot and the hotel only has one so you'll need to return it after you've parked your car. This is a nuisance if you are planning to go out more than once a day as someone will have to grab the remote from the front desk each time you enter the lot. On the positive side, easy access to the freeways and surrounding downtown areas. The hotel is in koreatown so lots of good korean clubs and restaurants. Also, the bedding was surpisingly comfortable, probably from years of wear, but I'll take it over 100 thread count sheets any day.

Overall, I found the hotel to be pleasant. My room had a slight musty smell, but the staff tried to accomodate me in any way they could. Maintenance responded quickly to a problem that I encountered my first night. The maid service was excellent. The front desk staff did all they could to help me with regard to directions, local fare, suggestions, as well as shuttle service back to LAX. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Service was terrible. 2 wake up calls requested, one came an hour late, the other never came. No face clothes. When requested, more towels came up (English problem). Paint coming off in bathroom and bathroom had ants. Television didn't even have ESPN. Overall experience: terrible; waste of money.

we had to change rooms twice upon check in to get an acceptable room and even after all of that the room we ended up with had several burned out lights including the main light in the bath room. Parking is a real problem at the Hotel as well. They don't have enough parking spaces for all of the guests in the Hotel.

The entire place was falling apart. It had leaks in the roof of the foyer. The rooms were very run down. The door didn't fully meet so cold air leaked into the room. The heater was loud and dirty. The bathroom shower head was falling off. Everything just looked run down, dirty, and awful.
