| The hotel is not too far from the subway, but not close either. You'll have to walk 3 looong blocks uphill to get there. Overall the room was clean, although "weathered". I was on the 1st floor and it can get noisy with people passing by. The mattresses were rather unconfortable. I had requested a crib and they didn't produce it. Overall I think I'll be looking for a different hotel next time in DC...

| We drove in and stopped at 10 am and was told that our check in was 2pm. OK. We came back at 3:30pm and the rooms were still not ready. Then at 4pm we were told they were ready. Ha! One room was ready and we had to wait an additional 1/2 for our second room. Staff was not helpful in trying to secure how to get a cab or just about anything else. Many walkways were not even and tripped you. We had a person with a disability and was given a second story room that you had to walk up to. Because we were not local, they really didn't care what service was provided.

| The motel was on the outskirts of the city, in a rather industrial and run-down area. The rate was excellent for students taking a trip to the nation's capital. The service was less than great, but for the price paid, it was alright.

| The Super 8 is well maintained the staff accomodates requests quickly and willingly. However, if you're unfamiliar with the DC area, this may not be the best place to stay on your first trip. This part of the city is right on the border and is in an industrial neighborhood. The area is not especially nice but it is probably not dangerous if you use common sense and don't go anywhere alone after dark.

| The motel is located on New York Avenue, only a few miles from downtown, and even less to Union Station, but in an unattractive neighborhood with no services (other than Mc Donalds) within walking distance. The staff was not very friendly. The room itself was clean and adequate with plenty of hot water for showers and the TV worked.

| Motel was ok for one night stay. Did not have king or queen beds but is very close to all DC attractions.Other DC hotels can get costly but this motel should be cheaper as compared to other locations in DC
