We were there a week. We kept the sliding doors opened all night long loved listening to the wind and waves.Great place to stay, its away from the hustle and bustle of the fancy resorts. Our only complaint is the beach, but theres nice beaches just down the road

Outstanding experience. Beautiful property, great ocean view and friendly and helpful staff. Rooms need a little updating as they are beginning to show their wear. We loved it.

This hotel is great, it is not a resort that caters to everything but the rooms are very nice and clean. The ocean front rooms have a beautiful view of the sunset. There is decent snorkeling right there, we saw sea turtles and whale spouts from our balcony. It is inexpensive and it is located near stores and restaurants. I would recommend the Paki Maui to anyone.

When we reached there. The lady at counter said, we have good and bad news for you. Bad news is we have no room for you and good news is that we are sending you with upgrades to much better resort for free. Wow! Our vacation started off really well..

I have mixed feelings about Paki Maui because our condo was not up to standards. We rented a two bedroom, two bath, and we did get that. The problem was in the second bedroom. The paint was peeling off the wall just under the window where it was rotting away. I complained with the management, but they stated they were too full to move us anywhere else. Also the sofa in the living room was covered with a sheet because the coushions were falling apart. I knew that there was no beach, so I expected that, but the pool was even smaller than described and did not get much sun light. The garden area was very beautiful and well maintained. The grounds were clean and plants manicured as well. The staff did let us store our luggage in a closet at check out since we had a late flight. We had made service every day, and we were even lucky enough to have a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cook ware, even though we only really ate breakfast there daily. It really helped to have Expedia Activities desk on the premesis. Would I go back again..... I'll think about it.

Although Paki Maui is not the most modern hotel (townhome), I can't wait to go back. It's well-equipped and clean. Room with ocean view is perfect -- just steps away from the water. It's without air conditioner, but ceiling fans are all we need for our tropical vacation. One thing that may bother travelers is that the sound of the ocean waves is a permanent feature of the hotel :) Yeah... I have to buy a wave machine now to re-live the memory of the trip. Can't wait to go back and stay at Paki Maui again.

First time in Hawaii, got impressed by the place we stayed. I arranged this trip on behalf of my team, three of us. Actually I was a little afraid that if hotel I have made a reservation would not be satisfactory to my comrade. It was a needless worry. They loved it, I loved it.

The 2 bedroom ocean front room that we had was great. Pretty good snorkeling on the reef right off the hotel. We had a late flight going home so after checkout management gave us a room to store our bags and take a shower in the evening before heading to the airport. It was really like getting an extra day that we were not planning on. Cons were small pool, not much of a beach. 10 min. drive to Lahina for shopping and resturants. We found some really nice beaches in Kaanapali and Napili.

Plusses: Availability of a 'one night stay'. Reasonable Price. General location. Negatives: Noisy room location(late nights). Small pool. Very sparsley equipped kitchen utinsils. No beach but directly adjacent to 'public' park/beach.

This is a condo not a five star hotel. The location and view were great (we had an ocean front), the beach was great. A little maintenance would go a long way and please buy some new beds. They were brutal. This is a great family condo and location. We will go back for sure.

Didn't match our expectation. We had a garden view room. The view was not impressive. There was no breakfast at all!! Although they said that they have continental breakfast for all. 3rd party trip seller would come to thehotel every morning and if you agree to listen to them for1 hour you might get a piece of bagel :-) Horrible. Its's a motel quality place. Hotel beach is ugly and you can't even stand there! Full of rocks. They even charge for your car parking!! They didn't give enough soap and shampoo in the room!
