| We went to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The staff was incredible and extremely accomodating. We were given a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with a private pool. We got the honeymoon package which included spa for two (massage, champagne and fruit platter and bubble bath),private dinner and all meals including room service and minibar among other things. Very romantic but also a nice place to bring children. It is pricey, so make sure to get a an all inclusive package. Top notch!

| Well what can I say. This hotel is esthetically beautiful. The grounds are expansive and well manicured. Sadly, my vacation enjoyment was hindered by the front desk staff who were less than helpful and always had an excuse for why they hadn't remedy a problem we had. Now a phone in the room being broken normally isn't a huge problem. But when the grounds are so big that you have to call the bell hop to drive you in a golf cart to the main building then it definitely becomes an issue. Needless to say it was not resolved until 2days before our check out. The saving grace for this resort is that the rest of their staff including bartenders, housekeeping, security, etc. were very friendly, accomodating and helpful. Do I have intentions of returning to Half Moon? No!! The hotel is rated as a 4 1/2 star hotel but sadly it does not live up to that for the regular guest. I am sure those in the private villas receive fabulous service. So unless you are staying there I do not recommend Half Moon. There are a lot of the resorts in Montego Bay to choose from.

| Had a great time at the Half Moon Club. The staff there is incredible. Would go back in a heartbeat. Very private, not for party people. More for families and couples who like it quiet and relaxing. Rented bikes and rode around their 400 acre heaven. You can even rent golf clubs. Food a bit pricey so recommend the meal plan. worth it.

| we usually go to negril (the "caves "i highly recommend), however due to the shortness of our trip we elected to go to montego bay. our room was situated directly on the beach next to the dolphin area but, unfortunately, i was told by one of the managers that they are going to tear down this structure shortly. too bad. there is nothing better than to wake up and open your door and be directly on the beach. the staff was very nice (as jamaicans always are) and we had a wonderful time.

| The Moon Bay is a grand old resort, immaculately maintained and beautifully manicured. The restaurants tend toward the grand, however, and are not especially kid-friendly as far as menu selection or prices. Service, other than room service, tends to be friendly enough but slow and somewhat methodical. If you want to be where the action is, this may not be the place for you. If you want a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of reminders of a more gracious past, try Half Moon.

| The hotel and grounds provide a nice, private getaway. Close to the airport and easy to get too. The food was good, but service in the hotel's main restaurant, Seagrape, was typically slow. It improved, however, after "discussing" the problem with the hotel manager, which indicates that management is attentive to their guest.
