| Hotel just seemed old, although the outside appreance did look good. Smelled kind of musty thoughout the hotel. Towels where also very old and need replacement.

| I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel is centrally located to easy access to all the amenities on the island, and you are only a short walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and vacation location.

| I had to book a hotel at the last minute. I was lucky to find a place, much less one that was priced this well and in such a good location. The beach and many shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. The rooms were big and had balconies. I would stay here again.

| Dents in all the doors (made you wonder what made them)- must be some rowdy spring breakers - looked like a sledge hammer was taken to the side of our door. Lousy continental breakfast - no cereal at all one day (no hot food at all). Couldn't get extra towels (only 4/room) - had to trade in your wet ones for dry ones - couldn't understand that 3-4 people per room made need more than 4 towels. Lousy views, on backside (bayside) of island. Next time would spend a little more money and book a nicer hotel.

| Hotel is in good location and has nice rooms. Parking is adequate for the location. The morning continental breakfast leaves something to be desired, but there are good breakfast restaurants nearby. Overall, good value for the money.

| While I would recommend this hotel. I would only recomment it if you were there only for a very short stay. The room smelled very clean, but the water in the restroom for washing up and shower smelled very bad. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. Lots of room, but would not stay there again.

| Upon arrival, the room was about 90 degrees. The a/c did not work. They offered to fix the a/c instead of switching rooms. We had to request the room switch. Should not have had to ask. The bed linens and pillows were worn and could have been cleaner.

| The Howard Johnson is in a great location. Its at the center of everything. It was a great choice and I will probably be returning next spring break. Rates are compatible for a college budget as well.

| We had four women on this trip and the room was spacious enough to hold all our luggage without being in anyone's way. The bathroom was also big enough for 2-3 of us in there at once. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The only draw back was that we weren't directly on the beach but we had a car and just drove the few blocks to the beach. I would stay here again.

| There were many visitors upper stair with chatting and drinking on balcony. They continued in midnight to enjoy their time however it was too noisy to stay comfortably for my family. I thought this hotel accepted those kind of visitors and I should not stay there for my family in the future.

| The only thing we found wrong with this hotel was that the trash can was full when we checked in our room, but it was emptied the next day. Also the balcony light was burnt out but they replaced the bulb right away. I would suggest maybe extending the time breakfast is served. They only serve breakfast from 6:30am to 9:30am. I like to sleep in when I am on vacation. Other than that it was a great experience!

| Everything was good. Well..except for the lady at the front desk who wanted to bill me $45 dlls for late checkout (2 pm.) I recommend this hotel for people who will be able to walk (several blocks) down the beach, or who have any relatives staying at a beachfront hotel. Overall: Good Price, Decent Hotel.

| It's a great choice on the bay side if you want to be within walking distance of several clubs and restaurants. The rooms are large with kitchenettes. I would recommend this hotel.

| The rooms here are large and include amenities like a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. There's also a pool and jacuzzi. The complementary breakfast was also quite good with cereal, bread/toast, danishes, juice, milk, coffee, bananas and apples. My room was ok except for a couple of maintenance issues: one burnt light bulb, tv had to be banged once in a while to keep the picture, patio door wouldn't open. These things didn't bother me too much. I could have always have asked to have them fixed but I didn't bother.

| Basically you get what you pay for here. Big rooms and pleasant. Good location on the island as well easy to walk to a lot of resturants and bars. Small outdoor pool and staff wasn't that helpful when asked questions about the island and attractions.
