| This is a great little hotel in a great location, in the middle of Laguna Beach. Close to the Ocean, dining, shopping and nightlife, it is one of our favorite destinations. It is reasonably priced, but as you would expect with an older property, the rooms are quite small, especially the least expensive ones. The hotel has a great rooftop lounge, and we enjoy the restaurant and bar as well. The fact that you have to park in a separate lot a half block away, is a minor inconvenience in that you need a shoehorn to fit your vehicle into one of the tiny parking spaces. I highly recommend this hotel as a romantic get-away.

| I wasn't sure what to expect but when we arrived I was VERY pleasantly surprised. This hotel is ON the beach, gorgeous views from hotel rooms and just a short walk to all of the great restaurants, shops and galleries in Laguna. It has a very romantic feel, fresh flowers everywhere (even in our room)! The rooftop bar is fabulous - heat lamps and blankets are provided and its great ambiance - you can have a cocktail and look out at the moon reflecting on the water. We will definitely go back!

| Original structure from 1927 maintained. Rooms are very small....beds are comfortable. Walk down the steps for the cove like beach. This is a very SMALL beach area. Must walk through some seaweed to get to the sand, but that is ok. It is quiet at this beach, if you find a good spot. The guest beach towels are super nice. Everyone is friendly. Free parking is a very good value added service. Walking distance to many places to eat. 15 minute walk to main beach - a bit of exercise, but nice to look at stores on the way. Great little breakfast here, for free. Rooms are SMALL - cannot stress this enough.

| I enjoyed staying at La Casa de Camino -- very quaint and small. Very good resturant as part of the hotel -- definitely recommend dining there. Parking is on the next block, kitty-corner, from the hotel which can be just a slight bother if it is raining. The hotel, like many, uses fat pillows which is great if you like them but if you are like me, and need a thin pillow, then you are out of luck. One other small thing: outlets are scarce -- I had to plug in my laptop by the sink. Not a big deal but just a small thing.

| Nice hotel, beautiful lobby, rooms are nice, but, the street side rooms boarder on the South Coast Highway and can get pretty loud.

| Built in 1927, the room size was small, but adequate. A/C consisted of a window fan and ceiling fan, but we were very comfortable. Location is central to Laguna Beach and parking is free. The hotel is not on the beach, but is close. The rooftop deck has a great view of the ocean with tables, chairs and umbrellas. It is available 24/7 to guests and is open 5-10 Friday and Saturday night w/a cash bar. The restaurant downstairs was very good and rather upscale for hotel restaurants. We would stay here again.

| This room was facing PCH. It was extremely loud. There were other guests in the hotel that said that they could hear other people's conversations. The room was very small, in fact there was no closet only a coat hanger on the wall for your more fancy attire.I was glad that it was only for one evening.

| very, very charming hotel. Beautiful setting, steps to the ocean. Excellent restaurant in hotel. Easy walking distance to shopping in Laguna Beach. Only drawback: rooms tend to be very small.

| This hotel was very beautiful and the staff were outstanding. I enjoyed watching the sun go down on the rooftop while enjoying their 'special' martinis. This is a great place for a romantic getaway.

| This hotel had an appealing look in the lobby, but did not carry to the room. The hotel is set directly on South Coast Highway and the sounds from the street were more evident than those of the beach down the street and down a few flights of stairs. The room needed renovation and the small bathroom left much to be desired. The continental breakfast was to be expected, that is why the cottage was the place to go for brunch. Not bad, but definitely not another stay for us.
