As a frequent traveler I look for hotels that offer comfort , clealiness and good hotel hospitality. This hotel pleased me very much. What I enjoyed was the lobby, cozy sitting areas scattered about with computer stations, books and a tv. There was even a resturant that you can enter right from the hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgable of area attractions. Our room was a nice size and clean . The only thing I did not like was for 2 people they did not give us enough soap or towels.

Room was quite spacious, with a generous table that gave plenty of room for the two of us to dine and/or work. Refrigerator, microwave, and a complete set of dishes and silverware were nice touches. Hotel security was excellent for two women traveling together. Lots of other unexpecteda amenities--very nice lobby restricted to guests only that does give a clublike atmosphere, including a computer with Internet access that guests can use free of charge to check email or consult the Internet, comfortable seating areas and coffee, etc. My daughter and I were both quite pleasantly surprised. Excellent location--two blocks from suburban station.

My husband and I spent the weekend at Club Quarters and found the place reasonably priced, elegant and centrally located. Check in/out was a breeze and the staff helpful. Our room was small, but clean, comfortable and handsome. The lobby was beautiful and we loved walking around the downtown area. It was easy to catch a cab and/or bus close by. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nice and so was the hotel staff but we never had enough towels or wash cloths in our room after it had been serviced. One particular day we requested 2 towels and 2 wash cloths from the maid and she left 4 towels. We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and we never had enough towels or wash cloths for 2 people (meaning 2 towels and 2 wash clothe). This was the only problem that we experienced on our visit. The checkout was speedy and unique.

Club quarters, a concerted bank building succeeds in matching its urban surroundings. A stay at CQ resembles a stay in a friend's town home in center city Philadelphia. Features I appreciated were the simple elegance of the ambience, decor, and dining, and the quiet relaxed atmosphere. The lobby featured comfortable leather sofas and tasteful tables-with internet access. Rooms were individually decorated and immaculately clean, with high quality linens, library books on the shelf for guests to peruse, in addition to coffee maker, cable, and movies on demand. Davido's, the attached restaurant was moderately priced with excellent food. I breakfasted on tomatoes, with olive oil and basil, and a perfectly cooked omelette with fresh spinach and imported cheese. The service throughout CQ was quiet and impeccable. The central location and reasonable price make these quarters convenient. Happily they are opening branches in New York and London. One hopes that as CQ expands to other locations, they will retain the individuality and charm of the Philadelphia hotel.

I have traveled across the world for more than 50 years. I had never been offered a room before with no windows. But the twelfth floor of the Club Quarters in Philadelphia is situated behind a windowless facade. My room had less than a 7 1/2 foot ceiling (I could touch it) and two skylights up a fabricated shaft. The service was non-existent, the room was so-so clean but had no iron, no way to open the closet and the bathroom door at the same time, no tub - just a shower - and the little refigerator was in a closed cabinet so the compressor heated the whole unit to about 110 degrees. Central city Philadelphia is so attarctive that perhaps these drawbacks are compensated by its location and attractive price BUT. No window. Really.

A friend and I stayed at the hotel for one evening and left the next morning, so I can't comment on the service for clean towels, room cleaning, etc. However, I found that the room was clean and neat upon arrival and the bathroom facilities, etc. were in good working condition. The kitchenette had a small refrigerator, stovetop for light cooking, and dishes with utensils. The only issue was when we returned to the hotel (around 11pm)from a performance event and wanted a bite to eat, room service was not available. In the room service menu, the hotel did provide the names of a diner that delivered 24 hours, as well as other restaurants that serviced the hotel after hours. We ended up ordering pizza. We had to go downstairs and meet the delivery person at the street level. The check-in and check-out was very fast as I was able to use an automated system with my credit card. In regards to hotel security, I was a bit leery as the system allowed anyone to enter the front door of the hotel without question. However, the only way to access the rooms, which could only be reached by elevator, was to swipe the elevator with your room key, then press your floor. While I did not use the service, I noticed that the hotel also had access to the internet in the lobby area.

Simple, plain to the point. This is NOT an overly luxurious place to stay. It is a room, not a suite and not a motel. It is very close to everything in Philly. The staff wasn't overly friendly nor were they curt. The bathrooms are on the small side, but who wants to spend a lot of time in a hotel bathroom anyway? It is in walking distance of everything.

The biggest disappointment was there was no where to park and no vallet. Instead we were instructed to park down the street and were given a discount. We had to pay $22 to park 18 hours. Also, there was no air conditioning in the elevators and barely any in the lobby...there were fans in the lobby. In our room the air conditioner took 15 minutes to even turn and would shut off periodically no matter how low we set it.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The room was narrow, but we didnt spend much time there, we were out seeing the sights. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, it appeared as if the furnishings were new. The hotel staff was great, always helpful and nice. It is about 11 blocks to the big attractions but it was a beautiful city and I didnt mind the walk. You can also catch the Metro right in front of the hotel. Everything you need is right around the hotel, pharmacy, shopping, eating, its all right across the street or 1-2 blocks away.

Very small rooms. It was hot outside and warm and muggy in my room. Could not keep cool. Computer down at checkout. They said they would mail me my bill - twice. Never did. They finally faxed it to me after my second fax request. Room was cheap for Philly. I see why. Restaurant was nice but not as nice as the prices. You paid top restaurant prices for a nice but not great restaurant. Bed, bedding and pillows were also very uncomfortable.

We were very pleased with the location, rates, and friendliness of the staff. The room was small, but very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, and had easy access to transportation and sight seeing. We were a little surprised that there was no pool, as we had read in one of the internet descriptions...but it wasn't really missed with all the other tourist ventures filling our days and evenings. I was a little annoyed that we never received more than one washcloth for my husband and I to use. I did receive it twice when I called the service desk, but got tired of asking and just made do. I would stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

My husband and I went to Philly to see Cirque du Soleil. We loved our stay at Club Quarters. The 3pm check in time was a bit of a pain, but they let us store our luggage so we could sight see while waiting for checkin. The room was small, but it was just the 2 of us and we weren't in the room for very long. The hotel was really nicely decorated and clean. The location was great too, near everything we wanted to see. We will definitely stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay at Club Quarters. It was clean and decent. It was around the downtown area. Had a nearby restaurant for any room services. Food was very good but a bit pricy. Exercise room. Had a help yourself room for: ice, vending machines, pop machines, extra towels, etc. Brochures of different places to visit in surrounding areas. Delivery services. Walking distance to the Old City and other sight seeing places. Lots of shopping areas. Hotes Service employees were very nice and friendly. Easy access to internet. Quick taxi services. Check out was very simple.

Club Quarters is a nice choice for a Philadelphia stay. Service was good and having Davio's restaurant co-located there was convenient. Wireless access was included which is a strong plus for me, and the lobby area had several web terminals and printers as well. I had a very comfortable room although the rooms vary in size and I had one of the larger ones. The only inconvenience is parking which is in a public garage across the street. Still, I would rate this hotel highly.

We stayed over July 4th weekend. It was located right in the heart of a busy street (we passed the subtle sign of the entrance twice before we found it!), not far from LOVE park and with a small mall across the street. It was in a great location for getting the Phlash or to travel around town, and not too far from any of the main attractions (South Street, Olde City, museums, etc). The hotel staff were very friendly, and let us leave our luggage there when we arrived before check in so we could hit the town without worrying about finding parking and dragging it in later. As for parking, you can get a %15 discount at a nearby parking garage validated by the hotel, but we were able to find on-street parking most of the time. The only quirk to the hotel that took a little getting used to was the two-elevator system (one to the lobby, one to the room), but great for security! Quick check out was great, too. Did not get to try Davios, but it looked good! Overall, we were very satisfied & would definitely stay there again.
