The hotel staff were very helpful and accomodating to me and my travel companion especially since this was our first visit to the city. The location is ideal is you plan to walk around New Orleans. It is away from Bourbon Street, but still close enough to walk to all the sights of the French Quarter. The suite we stayed in was roomy and comfortable. Getting an off-season rate for this hotel made it that much better. Would definitely return to this hotel.

the housekeeping was immaculate and the service and attitude of the hotel staff were superb. The suite's sitting room afforded me privacy and allowed me to entertain guests while staying there to attend my son's graduation. I was very happy with the whole package and would stay there again without a moment's hesitation.

We just returned from a weekend at the Iberville Suites. The hotel lobby is beautiful, but it is an odd set-up. You enter on the ground floor, take an elevator to the lobby. Then you take another elevator to your room. A little inconvenient, but nothing major. It is located about a block and a half from Bourbon Street. Our room was nice. Very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly.

The hotel was surprisingly plush for the price, at weekday rates. We had a beautiful view of French Quarter from our 10th floor room, and were able to walk to the many attractions in the area. Breakfast was quite good. The only down-side was the unexpected expense of valet parking at the hotel--$28 per day. However, we did not explore what our other parking options were. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was nice overall, but I had a very bad check-in experience. Room was reserved and PAID for Tuesday night through Sunday morning. I called hotel twice to notify that I would be checking in extremely late, and that it would likely be Wednesday morning before I arrived. Both times I was told there would be no problem. However, upon arrival early Wednesday morning, I discovered that the hotel had given the room I had paid for to someone else, and I was required to wait four hours before they would allow me to check into a room.

Expedia's published star rating was a four star. Given that rating, I was disapointed with Iberville Suites. We stay in a lot of hotels and it appears this hotel was rated relative to other old hotels and NOT to the star standard. We would give this hotel between 2.5 and 3.0 stars. Our shower was full of mold. Get the point!

Iberville Suites was a great place for the money. The continental breakfeast was good. The place was very posh for the price we payed. It was closer to the action (Burbon Street) then I thought but far enough away to not be bothered by the noise. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. The only complaint I have is theres a lot of construction around the hotel. On some days the sidewalk were closed around the hotel and we had to find other ways to get to the hotel.

We were in town for a wedding and I wasn't crazy about staying in a French Quarter Hotel, but I was very impressed with the Iberville Suites. I would go back. It was very safe and decorated beautifully. We loved the continental breakfast every morning. The suite was a little small, but other than that it was perfect. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.

The Iberville Suites lived up to it's name. The rooms were very clean, the staff was excellent and the location was perfect. I liked the room's layout which had a separate living room area with a fold-out couch and it's own television. The hotel offered a continental breakfast every morning with a large assortment of food from cold cereal to waffles. If you can't afford a 5 star hotel but would like the prestige of a great hotel then I would highly recommend the Iberville Suites.

One block from Bourbon St Short walk from many fine restaurants in the Quarter. Lobby is on the second floor--must take elevator from street level to lobby & walk past registration desk to another elevator to get to room. The suites are somewhat small but adequate. They have 2 tvs & 2 phones. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. We stayed here to check out the hotel for a later reunion--the sales manager seemed disinterested & did not offer to show us other rooms or anything about the hotel & her only response was voice mail 2 days later.

Iberville Suites is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the craziness of Bourbon street(it's only a 5 minute walk away), but just far enough away to get away from it. Our room was clean and well kept. Our only complaint was that the bath tub faucet leaked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again.

The cost was so much more reasonable than the surrounding hotels. It's within walking distance of everything - so don't rent a car because parking is $28 per night (which I think is high) but probably isn't for the area. It had a small kitchen with a small fridge and separate small living room - 2 TV's (but then who's watching much TV in New Orleans. Coffee in room and continental breakfast downstairs (but don't go near the end - everything is gone.) I will definately go back.

I stayed for 4 nights in mid April. The hotel is ideally located on "Restaurant Row". Walking distance to EVERYTHING in the French Quarter. Comfortable room, with 2 TVs (one in each room), though the pull out couch was suitable only for children. The staff was very attentive and full use of concierge at the Ritz Carlton next door was a great perk. I would suggest asking for interior, courtyard room, as there is scaffolding and construction going on around the entire building. I would definitely return.

breakfast as usual is an incomparable deal... location leaves nothing to be desired... we had the van parked and didn't return to it until check-out... entire French Quarter and River front at our walking disposal... was disappointed to find no washcloths in our room upon check-in, but quickly remedied that. seems the dining room is also suffering a bit from the reconstruction going on outside , as eveidenced by the dust on the tables' pedestal bases. But overall, a truly enjoyable stay for a quick weekend of French Quarter Festival... we'll be back!!!

Room not available for checkin until 7:30pm. THis after an 8 hour drive and arrival time of 5:30pm. Check in is advertised as 3p. No compensation by hotel. Explained "due to heavy check out volume." Then room was not stocked, trash cans missing, no linens for pull out(which wasn't noted until time for bed), no condiments. ON last day, ants found in our clothing and in the pull out bed. Compensation was made for this. I feel this was probably an isolated incident related to volume (and the previous visitors), and I would probably stay again or recommend. As an aside, the Kids had brought a PS-2, but no way to hook up in this hotel. (Other hotels in our trip did have this capability). Hotel was very convenient, otherwise clean, breakfast was nice with late hours.

Cause of snow storming in Chicago I arrived in New Orleans ta 3 am. Checked-in hotel and the room happened to be so messy with good left overs from previous guests (in the closet, under the sink, and under the bed. The TV remote control was missing. I called housekeeper and the brought me a new remote and I asked the room to be clean up first thing in the morning as I had an early class (actually I showed them the messy). When I returned in the evening, the leftovers where still remaining and I complainted again and the following day I had no cleaning room service at all.
