| After reading some really negative reviews about this hotel, I was sceptical about our choice for a one week stay. Once we actually arrived, were shocked, to say the least. We couldn't understand why there were so many bad comments. The location was great(Hello - Mall, Market, China Town, transportation, convention center), the parking was convenient (I felt safe even after dark), the staff was incredibly friendly (got us a cart to lug all of our stuff as soon as we checked in), breakfast was great (different almost every day), & dinner was pretty good (my husband had the same hotel burger every time we ate there!) The indoor pool could have been a little warmer, but it was just nice to know it was there to use. The place was busy every day we were there, so that's got to tell ya something. . .

| The only thing that was a bit difficult was the fact that the swimming pool was located on our floor (pool is on 7th floor of this hotel). Hotel hall smelled of chlorine and when the pool was being used by kids, it echoed down the hallway. If we stayed there again, I would pick a different floor. Otherwise a great location to see China Town and the Reading Terminal Market is just around the corner. We loved it.

| Located in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, the Hilton Garden Inn is way too pricey for the clean comfort that it offers. It does not even give a complimentary breakfast! Thankfully, internet access is free. It is located close to several key spots in Philly though

| Maybe I'm just not a fan of Hilton Garden Inns, but I never really feel like they're completely clean, as a group. Chose the hotel for its proximity to historical locations, didn't realize it was literally right in Chinatown. Fine for the money and location, but feel like I could have done better.

| Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the entrance to this hotel is undercover of a large walkway making it dark and draws "odd" people to it who loiter outside asking for money and the like. For this reason, I would not stay there again, which is a shame.

| The room was nice but there was an inch of dust on the headboards and they never vacuumed in 4 days. Though I had prepaid thru Expedia for 4 nights, each morning I got a bill saying that was my last day and they had billed my credit card. Each morning I went down to the desk and explained. Each day they said it was put in the computer wrong and they would fix it. Next day it happened all over again and they said the same thing, It was put in wrong and they would fix it.... On the bright side it was one block from a mall with a food court which great for the kids. It's also a 6 block walk to Independence park.

| Despite staying in a room on the "bridge" spanning one of the downtown streets, we did not hear downtown noises. The hotel seemed "old" and is in need of a remodel. The service was adequate but not the quality I expected from a Hilton. It felt like a lower quality hotel at a higher end price. Overall, the room was clean and spacious.

Overall, I would stay there ONLY if I have to and there are no more rooms available in town.

| The Hilton Garden Inn is located close to the Convention Center and the much larger- and more expensive- Marriott. It is also an even shorter walk to the train line serving the airport. Rooms are not luxurious but beds are very comfortable and rooms clean and well appointed. I'd criticize the chair for the desk (too low to sit and type) but I have yet to stay anywhere that had an appropriate chair! Unlike the 4-star chains, they do not charge you for internet access, which is both wired and wireless. And worked flawlessly, which has not been my experience at two different 4-star "luxury" hotels in the last 6 months )-: Staff was professional, courteous and friendly.

| We used this hotel while on a house-hunting trip in Philadelphia. The location is great, close to most touristy attractions. The hotel is located next to Market East, one of the main local train stations. This is very convenient; it makes it easy to go to the airport or to visit the suburbs using the train. Also, they serve a very good breakfast at a reasonable price. They have free high-speed Internet access and free printing! Printing jobs can be sent directly from the room or from the business center. They also offer a good selection of TV channels for free. They also have a nice swimming pool.

Does make me a bit nervous, but OK for the price.

| The hotel is located near the Reading Terminal and Convention Center. The area where the hotel entrance is located isn't one of the best areas I've been to, but it was fairly safe. Hotel service was very slow. Upon our arrival, I found a used coffee filter in the coffee pot, which was never removed from the previous guests. Also, the coffee was never replaced on our 2nd day, and when I requested for coffee the next morning, it was never delivered. Elevators can be very slow, and when we were there, it seemed only 1 or 2 were working. So there was a huge crowd waiting to get on. However, overall, the room was very comfortable.

| This hotel has a pool, which i love, a mini gym (better than most mini gyms at other hotels), and a "tenth floor grill," to name a few amenities, if you need to eat somewhere nice and quick without leaving your hotel. They are also very accommodating. Since i book my rooms always with expedia, i had placed a bid or ordered (whatever the right word is) two double beds, in a standard room. when i got there they did not have the standard room available so they just moved me to a junior suite (a bigger room) and gave me two free breakfast coupons for the grill for the inconvenience (which really was no inconvenience at all!) I always enjoy my stay at this hotel and would recommend it for anyone.
