Located close to mall and easy access to interstate. Hotel is clean and secure. Only problem I saw was the air in our room did not work very well. We had to open the window to cool the room.

Overall this hotel is very comfortable - but they need to work on customer service from the front desk. They have not been able to do little things - like make change, or give directions to local restaurants - and the last time - the window in my room wouldn't close all the way - and they did not offer to switch my room. These are the complaints - the positive is the hotel is always clean, comfortable - and is centrally located.

We enjoyed our brief stay. The hotel clerks were very helpful and polite. It felt safe because of the need for a room key to operate the elevators. It was clean, neat, affordable and quiet. I would definitely consider returning for a stay on our next visit to Mall of America.

The Hospitality Inn in Bloomington is a good hotel with a great price. Located just minutes from the "Mega Mall" and Airport, with good service, quiet comfortable rooms. Good pool area and also has an onsite restaurant. This hotel has become our "home away from home" on many recent trips to the Mpls/St Paul area.

Overall a great place to stay. My only complaint was the safety feature of their elevators. You had to use your room key card to activate them. We had two rooms and the cards just stopped working at different times. They were quickly replaced at the main desk and it was really just a minor inconvenience.

We first got checked into our room on the 3rd floor. After asking for a luggage cart, we were told they were "all out" and had to find one on our own. There were what appeared to be whisker hairs on the bathroom counter. We were moved to a room on fourth floor, which had dirty carpet and stained bedspreads. We took the free shuttle to the Mall of America and when we wanted to come back the van which was supposed to be at the mall on the hour was not. We had to call the hotel for a ride. When the driver arrived he pretty much called us liars saying that he was there at 4:00 (He WASN'T!) There were lots of other problems but one that stands out was that you could see out into the hallway through the space between the door and the frame in our room. We didn't have a remote control for the TV. The people at the front desk were very rude.

The name, location and description of this hotel are all a bit deceiving based on our recent stay, although perhaps we got what we paid for because we did get a decent rate. We registered on-line for a room with two queen beds, but the room we got had two double beds. The room was decent and clean but nothing special. The hotel claims to be near the Mall of America, but you'll want to drive not walk there. The hotel's restaurant has limited hours and there are limited restaurant options in the vicinity.

Quite a nice hotel, and VERY close to Mall of America (< 1 mile). Hotel offers free hourly shuttle service to Mall of America and Airport.Hotel also has great security, if you're worried about it. You must swipe your room card to access any floor on the elevator, and any floor in the stairwells -- so don't forget your key card! Nice security feature, though.Hotel restaurant (Embers) was your basic IHOP... ate there twice, satisfied both times.Hotel front desk also lends out VHS movies for free -- granted, the movies are old and look like something donated by employees, but hey -- you can't argue with free movie rentals.I Definitely recommend this hotel! The price was GREAT.

Nice, clean, well-maintained hotel very close to Mall of America (we had a great view of the Mall from our window!)Shuttle service to Mall was convenient. Our room was comfortable, although the temperature was difficult to regulate, we had to open the windows to cool it down. Had a great time in the pool. I'd definitely stay there again & would recommend to others. ALot of other hotels in this area didn't seem as nice, so we were glad we chose this one.

The hotel itself was clean and neat. Our room also, smelled like smoke in the nonsmoking room. It had a dirty feel to the room. The bathroom sink was leaking on the floor, there was no hot water for a while, burn holes in the comforter, pool was too cold, and there was no word of a free breakfast. The location was great, but not impressed at all!!

The bathroom had not been cleaned prior to our arrival (at 7:00 p.m.). When we called the front desk, we had to come and get our own stuff. No complimentary up-grade, meal, or even an I'm Sorry and we mentioned it to several people. They were very short staffed. Mall driver was from another motel. When you don't pay much, you get what you pay for. Fitness room & pool were ok, but not like the pictures on the web-site.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it was close to our destination. The non smoking room smelled like smoke - the front desk was not helpful. Worst of all, the fire alarm for the building, went off several times during the night. In the morning no one could give us a reason or a free breakfast.

I flew into nearby Minneapolis airport and had a rental car. Hotel was easy to find and easy to travel to and from training classes 3 miles away. Practically next door to Mall of America with shuttle service every hour. I did not have time to try pool or restaurant but they always seemed active with others using them. Room was clean with refrigerator and microwave.

I stayed at the Bloomington Inn & Suites for business and booked online w/o any knowledge of the hotel except location, price, and wireless high speed access. The great price I got lead me to not expect too much but upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, clean facility, and a very comfortable bed with a microwave and a fridge in the room.

The hotel was nice, however it does not mention in the description that the shuttle service from the airport stops at 11:00 pm. I had to take a cab. The charge was $14 of which they refunded $7. Also, the drain in the tub drained slowly, so I had to stand in dirty water and there was no iron board in the room, I had to ask someone to bring me one. Also, the iron itself had some black sticky stuff on it, so I had to borrow an iron from another room. Other than those problems the hotel was fine. I guess you could say it was worth the cheap price.

This is a very nice place but don't bother with the restaurant for breakfast. We waited for 20 minutes for a table and ended up driving down the road to Denny's for a fantastic meal. The Hostess was rather rude and even though there was an open table right in front of us, she seated a party of 6 who had waited for 5 minutes. We may stay there again but won't ever bother with the restaurant...no place is worth a 20 minute wait!

This place is a "best kept secret" location. The location is very clean, the staff are frendly and competent, although the desk crew was a bit overly professional. Food in the resrurant is not gourmet, however it is good, filling and reasonably priced, similar to denny's. The shuttle van is well managed and operated, most of my contact was with the evening shuttle crew, they were great. AND, this may not be important to some of you, the windows open. I will stay there again any time I am in the area
