| I was a little nervous after reading the reviews but the hotel was wonderful. The ocean view and the large rooms were great. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from Mallory Square ( 1/2 an hour walk, 7.00 cab ride) but it was wonderful having access to the beach and water sports right there. Definately take the island jet ski tour, we saw dolphins about 10 feet from us.

| We were close enough to the action to walk. yet far enough that we could enjoy a quiet evening by the hotel beach. Parking garage under construction. Little items like frayed wallpaper, dusty ceiling fans and what looked like a empty smoke detecter box on the ceiling.

| The hotel itself was very nice. There was construction on the street during our stay, which made it difficult to get to the hotel, but aside from that, we had a very good stay. The beach area was nice, although the bar outside seemed to have very "off" hours.

| The hotel has construction going on, and there is also construction going on next door. It was very noisy all day in our room, even on Sunday afternoon. You couldn't even take a nap. Also, there was construction dust everywhere and the clientele were mostly college kids on spring break. If you're looking for a relaxing place, this is not it.

| I'll admit, my husband and I were a little nervous to stay here, having read some reviews online after we already booked our stay. We stayed at the Reach Resort for two nights, from 2/9-2/11. We were very pleasantly surprised!!! Our room was extremely spacious, perhaps because of its location at the end of the hotel. (We were on the 3rd floor.) There was construction on the property next to our hotel room, but we could not hear it. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and we did receive turn down service. The staff was all very polite and helpful. The pool and ocean were beautiful. We had brunch one morning at the hotel. What a nice ocean view spot to start off the day. We did have a problem with the air conditioner, but we called the front desk and the problem was promptly addressed. The location of the hotel was also good. It was one block from the quieter end of Duval Street, but Mallory Square was only a short walk away. The southermost marker was 2 blocks away. We would defineitely stay at the Reach Resort again.

| Key West is a fun place with much to do. The Resort made the trip even more enjoyable. Good restaurant and the beach was not over crowded (the frozen towels and popsicles handed out by the beach staff was a nice, yet unexpected touch. While I didn't see it in the website, the resort had an airport shuttle.

| We were very satisfied with the Reach in almost every respect. The pool is great and open late. The beach and pier are great. Only one thing is bothersom....the water pressure in the shower is all but nonexistant. Location is real good,,,,near but far enough away...rent a scooter across the street.

| From the moment we pulled into the parking area of the Reach Resort we felt comfortable and very welcome. No pressures, just whatever we wanted to make our very special 25th anniversary stay as memorable as possible. There was obvious maintanance from previous hurricanes but there was no disruption to the enjoyment of our celebratory vacation. Beach and pool accomodations were top rate with exemplatory service. Hope "Wilma" goes easy on the Reach because we can't wait to go back really soon!

| The hotel is beautiful and breezy, just like you would expect for a Key West resort. Hurricane Katrina had just come through that week and there was a bit of a stench from the seaweed washed up on the beach, but considering, it was not a big deal. Shula's restraunt was delicious! Room service was fast, efficient and friendly. A good walk to Duval, but it was needed after the yummy food and drinks poolside!

| We really enjoyed the location of The Reach (close enough to Duval St. but private enough to relax). Our only concern was that the elevator on our side of the resort was not woking for most of our stay and our room was on the 5th floor. Staff was friendly and accomodating and I will definetly stay there again!

| If you want to have some quiet time and still be very close to all the hustle and bustle, this is THE hotel for you. The beach and the pool are O.K. and the rooms are roomy and clean. My only complaint was that there was no business center or a single computer where I would just check emails. But, if you take your laptop everywhere, that would not border you.

| Very small room with a balcony no larger than 3 by 3. The beach was covered with seaweed, and was not given any attention or priority in getting it clean. Could not upgrade room without a 3 to 4 hour additional wait. I was told that rooms were not going to be cleaned that day. Trash cans were overflowing with trash. On the up side I was able to move my reservations to the Casa Marina. A+++++++++ all the way. No problem with upgrading the room and a well kept beach.

| We liked this hotel and appreciated the relative privacy of its beach. Although we felt like we were tipping everyone we ran into at the hotel, the service was worth it, and everyone was pleasant. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The Reach is near Duval Street but at the end away from Mallory Square, so there's a good walk to some of the highlights of Key West.

| This was the only place which allowed us to stay for only one night of a long weekend. It was not cheap. The hotel beach is nice with good sand, beach chairs and palm trees, which made for a nice and relaxing stay for us. Hotel food was ok. The room was very small, location was not the most convinient for the sights. We did walk about a mile to Cafe Sole with really excellent fish.

| The Reach is not a luxary hotel - best suited for those who care about price, less about aesthetics. Good location, but facilities are cold and very institutional - more like a motel than a hotel. The beaches are small and not appealing for swimming - need to be cleaned of seaweed; the pool area is crowded and also not appealing. One exception - Shula's steak house - a good place for a drink, great hamburgers at a very baeutiful bar.

| Our first time to Key West. Great beach compared to neighboring hotels. Very clean rooms, grounds, etc. (I'm very picky.)Staff was friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations. Wanted to stay longer. Would stay again at this hotel. Walking distace to Duval Street (East end) and other points of interest. My 12 year old daughter had a great time also. She loved the hammock on the beach.

| After reading previous reviews of the hotel, i was pretty skeptical about going to the reach. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews until after I booked by trip...So I went with low or no expectations but much to my surprise, the hotel exceeded all of my expectataions. The staff was very attentive, the room was very clean, the beach was conveniently located and clean...Would go back again for sure...don't believe all the negative reviews...this place is great for a relaxing key west getaway.

| Wyndham Reach Resort was a wonderful place to stay during our recent trip to Key West. The service was excellent, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and tropical in theme. The "sand bar" had excellent food at reasonable prices, and they delivered to your chair at the pool or on the beach. Complementary frozen "washcloth popsicles" were given to sunbathers during the hottest part of each day, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Jetskis and other excersions were easily accessible, the night life was within walking distance. A curbmarket and a liquor store were just across the street. It was freeing to enjoy the european bathing option and have a massage on the pier. This is a "must take" trip for any couple in love.
