| My family & I enjoyed the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar very much. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. The resort was also very well maintained. In addition, the staff was very friendly and helpful and made us truly feel like their guests. I would recommend this hotel for sure - things are a little pricey but as many have said - hit the rotating happy hours and enjoy ALL of the pools they have. Staff was also very kind and knowledgeable - I was leary about hiring a babysitter from the hotel but everything was arranged perfectly and the lady who was to watch my kids was very sweet, pleasant, and bi-lingual. Although in the end, we didn't end up using the sitter service, it would have been a perfectly fine solution if someone in my party hadn't offered to help watch them for me. Do it if you don't have an option like I did.

| We spent our honeymoon at the Sheraton - Ocean Deluxe Suite w/ jacuzzi! Was fantastic, we were right on the beach at the very end of the resort. Every morning it was like having your own private beach. The service was above and beyond what I would expect. We left our camera at the ATV excursion and the hotel arranged to go pick it up and delivered it us within a couple of hours. Everything was great and we are planning to return with our families and son as soon as possible.

| We really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda Del Mar. The hotel and grounds are very beautiful and well kept. We ate at several of the resturantes and the food was excellent, pricy but excellent. Would recommend you rent a car at the airport as it is very easy to get around the Cabo area. Also when we arrived we had a Ocean Front Deluxe room reserved with two queen beds. The hotel had used all of these rooms so they upgraded us for no extra charge. We got a 3 bedroom 3 bath suite.

| The hotel and grounds are really very nice. The architecture is out of Spanish/Moorish movie. Wonderful colors and laid out well. Enough places to eat and drink on the property so you really don't have to go to town if you don't have the time. I would definitely stay there again and the only thing that reminds you your at a Sheraton are some of the fat-t-shirted americans clopiping about and hearing american music on the sound system sometimes, but still a nice place to stay, and everybody, U.S. and nonwere very mellow and polite. Oh there are a fair amount fo kids about - seems like a great place for kids.

| This was the first time we had been to Cabo and we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is beautiful and the service is excellent. Drinks and food are expensive at the hotel, so take pool snacks from home or buy at the local Costco (located in Cabo San Lucas). We bought soda and a bottle of rum at a local market and made some drinks in our room. (Just use a plastic cup if your taking to the pool). Definetly took advantage of the drink specials at the pool bar. They have happy hour everyday from 6:00-8:00pm. We rented a car which was not expensive and saved a bundle on transportation. Taxi and shuttle from hotel to downtown is pricey. Vallet parking at the hotel is free. We went to the time share presentation at the hotel and it was worth the 3 hours spent. The hotel gave us free breakfast, cash coupon to use at the restaurants at the hotel, and good discounts to use on other activities outside the hotel. The Spa services at the hotel were top notch. Can't wait to go back to Cabo and stay at this hotel.

| My wife and I spent 9 days at the Sheraton Resort in late May and early June. We had a wonderful time and we plan on returning to the resort next year. There is a shuttle service into downtown Cabo from the resort and it is much cheaper than a cab and town is only a 10 minute ride away. The bar service at the pools and beach is top notch. There is a 2 for 1 special drink each day. We tried all of the restaurants and they were all good with good service. The restaurants we ate at in town all had the same superior service.

| The Sheraton has been the best hotel that we've stayed at so far in Cabo, it's very kid friendly and the service is great. The only negative is they don't offer free suttle service to/from the airport and a taxi costs around $20 one way into town. We rented a car and that was the way to go.

| This was a very nice hotel - somewhat secluded with nice pools and beach area. Staff was eager to please. The town was 6 miles away, so you either had to pay $20 for cab fare each way, or hike 1 mile to the hiway to catch a public bus. We ended up renting a car which ended up being a good choice. Bathrooms were very large with a double-sink vanity and big shower.

| This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are beautifully kept. The landscaping is ideal and the poolside atmosphere makes you truly feel like you are in paradise. Our only complaint was that the food and drinks are highly expensive (in comparison to Mexican AND American prices) and it is hard to get a true taste of local Mexican cuisine at the hotel. There is only one Mexican restaurant at the hotel and you feel like you are eating at a Mexican restaurant in the US not in Mexico. My boyfriend and I were craving for real local tacos and other Mexican favorites that are hard to find in the US, but they werent at the hotel. You have to leave the hotel to get the true experience and that costs $10-$20 a person in transportation. Instead, try the bus for a $1.50 per person but you have to walk to the bus station which is far and uphill. Once you're out of the hotel the food in town is delicious and cheap!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.....as long as you have the money to spend.

| As an extremely seasoned and spoiled travler, I was a bit aprehensive after we purchased our trip. However once we arrived, other than a couple of small things it was practically flawless. A beautiful, beautiful site--the private beach is PERFECT; a great array of restaurants (not cheap, but quality never is), with Pitayas (sic) being almost perfect, and one of the most romantic restaurants we've ever been in;a particularly friendy bell staff. Minor detractions were a less than magnanimous front desk staff, and the 'sports bar'--if they polished it up, and upgraded the fixtures/furnishings, this resort would border on 5 stars. It's quite a place if we have no desire to ventue off-property! Pop the extra few bucks for oceanfront, by the way.

The hotel provides a shuttle for $10 roundtrip every 90 minutes or you can call for a taxi which is $20 one way.

If you don't mind the $8 margarita's, $14 salads, $25 bfast, $40 dinners--all nicely served, except for the chips that are dripping with lard--you'll enjoy everything. The facilities are beautiful, the contrast between the desert, sea and the oasis of the hotel is striking. There is no need to go anywhere else.

| We loved this hotel! It was a beautiful place and fun to hang out at the many pools. Yes, the restaurants were a bit pricey, one night at the Mexican restaurant and another night at the De Cortez restaurant, both were delicious. We found a way to make the breakfast reasonable - the kids buffet was only $5.00! We hit Happy Hour at the pool every afternoon (2 for 1 drinks) and met alot of nice folks that way. The surroundings were spectacular and the beach in front of the hotel was great. We did not get hassled by the timeshare pitch at all and our stay was a wonderful experience.

| Can't say enough about this hotel and the staff that works there. It is all about you and you can tell. The room was a garden view but is was an ocean&garden room # 1911 great room. The other reviews are right the food it is very over priced family of four min $100.00 every time. Go into town and you can cut that in half and not Impressed with the food went looking for great Mexican food and could not find it. But if you want the safty and convince of the hotel then you pay. Weather was awful would never go in sep, oct again 90-100 with 70-90 percent humidity never cooled down even the pools were about 80-85 all the time. Great place for kids if they like swimming did not see any activities for the kids or many kids at all. Ocean is very dangerous never any swimming. There is a market on the time-share side basis stuff in their beer, water, and chips snacks. Very quiet and relaxing able to find a lounge chair any time with five pools there is always room. Do one of the time-shares it will pay for almost all of your activity and cab ride to and fro. The views were spectacular a must do is the lovers beach go into town find a water taxi $5.00 they will take you there and you tell them when come back. Would definitely go back.

You are somewhat stuck eating at the hotel (as it is in the middle of two towns) unless you want to spend $20 to $50 per couple to get into Cabo. They don't oversell you on the time share presentations - which is a welcome change. Rooms are impeccable - staff is a delight.

Other reviews complained about the food / drink prices and the $20 cab ride each way to town - if you are concerned about this money then stay in town, but be prepared for lots of people (including young children) trying to sell you things. We did not find the prices that steep for drinks or food at the hotel - comparable to food or drink prices at a hotel in most major US cities.
