This hotel is nothing nice, but it is in the middle of Waikiki and cheap. I was overall satisfied with the service mostly because we recieved a free upgrade to a two bedroom suit. I recommend this place for young singles because it is in a good pick up spot and not far from the beach.

I travel fequently around the US and always got to stay at different hotels where my mood was going down very fast. But with this one, I was impressed. The staff was very friendly and very prompt to make everyone's accomodations much comfortable. I totally will recomend to other friends of mine to stay there.

This hotel was alright for a one night stay. There was very limited parking; even the guests had to get on a waiting list, and if you were lucky enough to get a space, it cost $15.00. The beach (Waikiki) was withing walking distance as was the International Market Place and several restaurants. The hotel was clean, but nothing very fancy, and the second night we stayed on the ninth floor which was quite noisy from other hotels and apartments balconies.

When I first went to the room, I didn't like the fact that the other rooms door entrance were so close to each other. The floor and carpet felt sticky. I like that the room, the bathroom and the balcony was spacious. Compared to two other hotels that I recently stayed at in Waikiki, this was much better.

Upon arriving at this hotel, they could not find my reservations which I had booked over 4 months prior in advance. Took them 30 minutes to confirm and rebook through expedia. The room itself was not horrible, but had absolutely no view with the general walkway being right outside the window. Everyday the housekeeping crew would want to clean the room at an early hour. Even so, they are extremely loud while cleaning the adjacent rooms and the walkway outside.

Looking for a place convenient to the beach & shopping? This is it, it's inexpensive, clean, and has some of the friendliest, most helpful staff I've encountered in the islands. Bring a sleep mask because the rooms are light at night but otherwise clean and comfortable.

The old adage, you get what you pay for obviously does not apply in Hawaii. This hotel has seen better times and is in desperate need of a Hollywood makeover. The place is deteriorating and not very welcoming. It is close to the beach, International Marketplace and Starbucks is on the corner!

My family and I stayed in two rooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Sheets were clean. Bath rooms were clean. Hotel personnel were very friendly and had good suggestions regarding places to visit and tour. We would book in this hotel for our future trips with no hesitation.

We went for 9 days. We were on a corner room next to the elevator. Couldnt sleep most nights. We were glad the beach was close and shoping was to. Wish we had a pool.

First off, I would stay there again since I am looking for good value. Relatively speaking -- it is Hawaii afterall -- it is good value. I requested a non-smoking room but they had none for me the entire two weeks. The worst part was that my room smelled like a giant soaking wet ashstray. Every time I entered I felt like I was going to hurl. The hotel is in rather shoddy condition, but not quite ghetto-like. Now for the positives... great location!!!!!!! 5 minutes from the beach and VERY central to Waikiki. There is a huge grocery store right next door on Walina Ave. The staff was friendly and they have night security. Parking is a real drag though. $10.00/night and they only have a few spaces available.

For the price for 6 days was awesome to sleep and relax only. The hotel was old and needed some work done on it. The room smelled musty and the bathroom was run down. However, the beds were fine, the tv had good channels, hairydryer availabe, and the sevice was friendly and tended to your needs. The location of the hotel was definitely good for shopping at the marketplace and close to many popular restaurants. The beach was about 3 blocks away.

This place was an absolute dump. The location was great. It was central to everything in Wikiki. The room hadn't been remodeled in 40 years. The room smelled musty. The service was actually pretty good, but I think it's worth the extra money to stay somewhere else.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Prince--we did not expect 5-star or we would have "paid" for it--it was more important to us to have the extra cash for our vacation as we weren't going to be spending any time (except to sleep) in our room. This doesn't mean that we were dissatisfied at all. I enjoyed the staff, the hotel and services--one complaint was with parking--but that seems to be everywhere in Hawaii--know not to get a rental car next time. We would definitely stay at the Prince again---

I stayed in various hotels of this class before in Waikiki. This was the first time I felt uncomfortable. It is very old and much less comfortable in comparison.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to everything. However, it was very old (which made it feel dirty) and the beds/pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I have stayed in worse, but we were happy to only be staying here for a couple days.

We got a standard room which included 2 double beds, night table, mini-fridge, and bath room. Although the beds were comfortable we could not imagine spending more than one night in this accomodation.
