| There is ample parking, nicely furnished rooms, and a nice restaurante. It is also very easy to get to from the highway and is within walking distance of a mall and many restaurantes. After two stays at this hotel we plan to go back again sometime.

| Hotel was okay. Hotel workers were not very pleasant, seemed put out if you asked a question. Shuttle to The French Quarter and airport worked well, however seating is limited to 10 to the French Qtr so it may be harder to find a spot in busier times such as Mardi Gras. You need to reserve a spot on the shuttle, but the reservation book is first put out at 7am for that days's shuttle service. It would be helpful if they posted the schedule a day or 2 in advance. Cab fare to and from the Quarter was about $20, tip included. Room was somewhat humid even with Air condition on high. Biggest complaint was that we found many ants in our room on the 6th floor, although they disappeared after one day? If I stayed in New Orleans again I would probably stay within walking distance of the French Qtr, we spent many nights in the Quarter and never came across the "bad" areas that other reviewers had mentioned. A few panhandlers here and there but nothing beyond that. A decent, cheap hotel if you're staying in the area

| Definitely the top of the 2.5 star rating! Staff very friendly and helpful (provided "Mapquest" directions, suggestions for dining, shopping, etc.) Nice/clean accommodations serve as a good central "homebase" for seeing/doing New Orleans area (with a car). Staying here - where parking is FREE- instead of downtown, where hotel parking is costly (almost $30/day @ the hotels I checked), allowed us to pay for the rental car (reserved on Expedia of course) during our 5-day visit. And downtown is only 6-7 miles away!

| We had never been to New Orleans before, and everyone was very helpful in telling us good places to go eat, things to do, etc. The staff was friendly & pleasant. We had a room in the Tower & the view was really nice, too. Parking was free, so that was also a plus & the location is nice because it's right off the highway. It was also neat because it was large & easy to see so you could get your bearings. The only thing that we didn't like was there were no refridgerators or microwaves in the rooms (you can rent a fridge for $10 a day) They have a shuttle service to & from the airport (hours vary) & also a shuttle to the French Quarter that you sign up for daily. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay at a very nice price! Another thing is, the cabs were outrageously priced. The cab we took from the airport to the hotel was $20. If you plan on staying longer, I would definitely recommend renting a vehicle, though parking in the French Quarter isn't easy to find. It still beats having to pay for a cab & it allows you a little more freedom to roam.

| very friendly staff, extras not a problem such as a microwave and little ref. I had a late arrival and that was fine. They have a parking garage and since we were on a motorcycle that was a bonus.Close to the Airport. A twenty dollar cab fare.I enjoy my time there very much.

| The hotel wasn't bad, check-in was a snap since I pre-booked on the internet. Couldn't get a room with a king bed like I had requested and found chewed gum on one of the beds (the one we didn't sleep in). Remote for the tv didn't work well if you were further than 5 feet from it and I found a spare remote behind the drapes (wondering when the room was actually thoroughly cleaned last). Staff was helpful over the phone, but security eyed me suspiciously every time I saw him, even after I had been there 3 days. Access to the rooms in the tower was bothersome when I parked in the parking garage. I had to take the elevator from the 2nd floor from the parking level to the lobby, then had to go into the tower and take the elevator to my floor. Also would have preferred an outer room, no view from the tower since the hotel had the addition of more rooms, enclosing the tower. Had a balcony I wouldn't get to because the door had been sealed off due to the addition. Like I said, not too bad for a budget stay.

| Shuttle service to French Quarter and airport was less than extraordinary due to sign up times. You had to plan your day completely around those times or take a cab which was approximately $20 one way to the Quarter plus tip. The hotel staff, including the shuttle drivers were very pleasant. Mike is a great shuttle driver tip him well. Would definitely stay there again if I had a rental car.
