| We arrived to the Coral Towers to a 10 deep check in line and 1 person on the front desk whilst the other staff chatted idly to the supervisor! After check in, we find they had not activated our room key and after eating lunch find out that the credit on our resort card was also not activated.... back to the front desk! The person next to us on line had requested 6 rooms - 3 for adults, 3 adjoining for children. They managed to end up with the 3 rooms for the children adjoining 3 stranger's rooms! We encountered plenty of rude staff(especially the librarian), the food was very expenisve for poor quality (we stayed at 5* resorts all over the world that were cheaper and better food/serivce). The maid service never had enough towels to refresh the bathroom. The resort looked in ill repute - major construction along both ends of the resort. All in all, Atlantis is one lost city that I hope I never have to find again - it deserves to stay at the bottom of the sea!

| This hotel has an incredible array of activities for everyone to do, allowing you the option of staying on the resort the entire time you are there if you want. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling and greeting you everywhere you go. The only thing that I recommend you do is to get the meal plan for your stay. The food is outrageously priced, and you could go broke just eating there. BUT, the food, is delicious! Great vacation, great beaches, and we would return in a heartbeat.

| While the hotel grounds are simply beautiful, and yes there is much to do. It is just to busy and I have 3 children, I felt like a cattle call at breakfast buffets. In fact I got out of my meal plan (MAP) so we could go to different places and we came out ahead in our food spending and we ate a great places. We checked in and go up to our rooms and they were not cleaned, so we were not too happy. I truly believe it does not matter which tower you stay in (I was in the coral tower) you walk all over to do things; which was very enjoyable. The slides are great, the fish are magnificent, it is breathtaking.

| We had a fabulous time!!! The kids were entertained night and day. We did different things every day & there are still things we did not get to do. It's like paradise there!!! We can't wait to go back when the waterpark is finished being built. Coral tower is the best -- it's right near everything & you don't have to keep walking through a casino to get there. The waterslides were terrific, so was the lazy river, the kiddie pool, the tube ride and all the aquariums. The spa was wonderful, as were the restaurants. We enjoyed the beach & getting our hair braided. No other hotel can compare to it. We look forward to returning soon.

The staff was very friendly and helpful whether it be at the pools or turning down our bed in the evening. Restaurants were a bit pricey but what are you gonna do, your on a vacation. Would definitely recommend to friends & family. An experience my 5 year old will not forget!

| In order to get a loungechair, you must do what everyone else does-go out at 7 am and put your towel as well as some posession on the chair. If you come out at 9 am, they'll all be gone. We went during spring break-obviously a very crowded time. You must like kids and be able to tolerate much noise and chaos to enjoy this resort. Food is overpriced, but Murry's Deli is an okay deal and has a great menu with good quality food. The nicer restaurants are about $50 per person.

| The hotel is highly overated. Food is expensive for what you get and they automatically add 15% service charge to everything - including just getting a $3.75 soda from the bar. The room was average. The balcony rail was peeling paint and one of our chairs had paint on it. If you do eat there, the Nobu restaurant is very good. I also recommend the comedy club which is worth the $20 and the free movies were nice. Better for families than singles.

| We had a lot of fun - our kids (12 and 16) loved the water slides. I expected a little nicer room considering the money we paid. We were in the Coral Towers and the room could use some maintenance and updating. Service does not seem to be a priority here - being ignored at the bars/food cart, being ignored at the front desk, etc. You'll be taken care of when THEY are ready. (It was almost like when we were in France!) The beach is nice but could use some trash cans. (Maybe people are just lazy and can't throw away their drink cups, straws, etc.)We've always stayed at high end hotels for our trips (Hawaii, CA, FL, etc.) and I guess we expected Atlantis to be on par with those. In spite of that, we will still probably go back - just without any grand expectations.

| After reading the previous reviews about Atlantis, I was a little aprehensive about the service issues I would face. HOWEVER, we had excellent service and were very pleased about every part of our stay. We stayed in the Dolphin villas of the Coral Beach Towers and were thrilled with them. Very close to the beach and beautiful ocean view. THe rest of Coral Towers is as it would state, a hotel like tower. Would forgoe the expense of the Royal Towers. Much too opulent for my blood. And never would stay in these with the kids. Coral Towers is the mid priced and much better value. I will admit that the food was very pricy and I may consider the meal plan if we return. When we got to the airport on the way back through Miami, we were thrilled to pay airport prices! Stayed for 5 full days with a day of travel on each end. First time to the Caribbean and loved it. Recommend highly.

We only wish we could have stayed out by the pool, beach or lagoon past 5 PM.That is such a great time of day--but everything closes up so you must go inside to eat and/or gamble. Our room was perfect---so comfortable. Four of us slept there easily. We actually stayed in Habiscus Villas. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The week we were there was very busy with Spring breakers. It is a great, fun, safe family atmosphere. We all loved it !

The service is only interested in selling you extra trips or condos, and the food on site is very expensive. It was a great safe place for my teenage kids. My 20 year old was a little out of place- too young and too old.

| My daughter and I spent five days at the Atlantis. The water activities (slides, pools, lazy river, etc) were great! My daughter loved all of it, especially getting to see all of the sea creatures! The rooms are ok, but face it, most of the time your enjoying the outdoor activites anyway. I only had one problem and that was the service. There were a few who were helpful and had great attitudes, but most were actually rude and acted is if we were inconveniencing them if we had a question or needed something. All of the hotel guests that we spoke to were saying the same thing about the service. Perhaps that's why they put an automatic 15% tip on EVERYTHING...they know most would not get tipped if it depended on their service. Other than that, we really had a great time relaxing and having fun!

Even if you walk up to the cafe by the pool to get a premade burger and a cup for a soda that you have to fill up yourself. Service takes a long time. Other than that, the facilities at the hotel are excellent. Impressive acquarium, pools, spa, etc., but pools close at 5 p.m.

| Atlantis is the Disney World of the Bahamas. Fine for families with lots of children, as long as you don't expect the guests to be well behaved. Way too crowded - claim your pool chair by 10a.m. Outdoor facilities are the priority (pools, slides, etc.) Rooms are acceptable, TV remote still never fixed after three days of calling. Food inconsistent and expensive. The Bahamian staff is very helpful and friendly.

| We stayed in the Coral Towers which were nice! The service all around was very slow! Plan to spend over budget for every meal! Even outside of the grounds, meals were costly. You can order out for delivery to the lobby with Pizza Hut & Papa Johns. The views and pools were awesome! The pools close early by 7:00 pm so don't plan to swim late! There were no outside bars or entertainment after 7:00 pm. Plan to pay for all water activities in or out of the hotel area! ( snorkleing, kyaks, paddle boats are not included and are costly by the lagoon). Bring plenty of games or cards for a rainy day if you have children! Look into the meal plan if offered! The comedy show was a blast! Take advantage of the free movies being showed in the theater.Any children under 48" are not allowed on most of the slides. If over 48" you will have a great time on the water slides. Get up early and place personal items where you want to sit by the pool reserving your lounge chairs before going to breakfast! The pool boys place towels on the lounge chairs for the upper end guests reserving all the prime chair locations for them. The aquariums were fantastic and you must tour the "Dig". Take all the small stuff like aspirin, bandaids, suntan lotion with you. If purchasing there you will pay 3x the amount.
