| The hotel is under constant remodel, roaches in our room every day! staff never tried to help us with roach problem. Snorkling not very good! food on island still very good. Couzmel use to be a reasonable priced vacation, now has become a little pricey.

| My wife and I spent a couple nights here after spending a couple nights in Cancun for our honeymoon. This hotel is much smaller and more relaxed then the main hotels in Cancun. There isn't much to do at the hotel (due to size) other then to lay around the pool or go snorkeling (excellent) right off the hotel. They do not have a beach (they have some sand but its not a beach with waves rolling in) which was a disappoint after having fun in Cancun. Downtown is a short cab ride away for shopping and eating. I would stay here for relaxing, not if you are looking to party, Cozumel is just not the place for that. The hotel was a pretty good deal for the price and the room was a bit small but clean.

| The Coral Princess was not clean anywhere. The front door and back door were broken the whole trip and bugs were everywhere. We requested a non-smoking, ocean front room, but got a view of the jungle. The room had MOLD growing on the wall and they would not move us to another room. The pools were so dirty that you couldn't see the bottom. I have traveled a great deal around the world and this hotel was ranked as the worst!....Vacationer Beware and stay some place else!!

| Good snorkling. Drinks expensive---beer is the way to go. Wanted a beach view---not available unless we upgrade. Jungle view was a view of the street.

| We found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was included, and was satisfactory, but we missed not having a coffee pot in our room. The room was quite clean, but killed a cockroach the size of Miami. The property was slightly rundown---the grounds were very littered {like much of Cozumel}. The snorkeling was really pretty good right in front of the hotel, and the resort course for diving seemed to be very well run. Thought the drinks were kind of high-priced for this hotel. $5.50 for a Pina Colada, which is standard fare back home} Plan to stay a little closer to the middle of the island next trip.

| This resort is on the quiet North end of the island, away from the cruise-ship traffic. Since most of the people staying here have ownership interest (vacation club), the property is well-managed and well-maintained. Clientele are couples and families. Very restful environment, helpful staff. If you're booking a Standard room, don't count on an ocean-view room. I estimate only 8 such rooms on the premisis, with club members getting the priority. The one-bedroom suite is excellent and has a large deck with table & chairs plus a lounger, excellent for having morning coffee or watching the sun set over the ocean with a beverage of your choice. Full kitchen . A $5 cab ride will take you to the Chedraui supermarket south of town and you can stock up with food & beverages. US dollars are fine. The beach is small ; there are only 5 thatched-roof palapas, so hit the beach early if you want one. There are an additional 16 umbrellas, 1 per 10 canvas loungers. Padded cushions were scarce; I saw 10 max during my stay, not enough for all the hard plastic loungers on the North end of the beach. There also one large almond tree on the North side that provides shade. Good snorkeling from the beach with easy water access. A $3 cab ride will get you into town. Make sure you go to "Pancho's Backyard" for dinner (located within the excellent "Cinco Soles" store, North of town, a great shopping location). Avoid lunch as it's packed with cruise ship people. Pancho's for dinner is a must.

| We stayed last week of April 05 which was off season. Service was great. The snorkling from the hotel was the better than the public beaches. I read lots of complaints about the included breakfast... for about $2 additional you get eggs, bacon, fruit, danish, coffee... good deal by my standards. They have a Mexican festival once a week that was inexpensive, good food, and lots of fun. Nice quite location that is close to town $4 cab ride, but you can walk we did often one way. Nice Adult location

| Very good hotel. I was scared to not have an internet connection however. Also, for the late evening sometimes I wanted a better television choice. Besides that petty stuff, they had a scuba dive / snorkel shop in the hotel, two bars, a restaurant, car rental, and booking agent for the local tourism. Lack of Spanish skills was not a problem. View is great.

| The hotel needs updating as well as renovation. Staff (Waiters & Concierge)was the best part of the trip, they were courteous and helpful. There was an odor from the bathroom from the first day to the seventh day, staff had no explanation and did not offer to send staff to check.

| Arrived at the Coral Princess Hotel to find out that requesting an ocean view room through expedia.com really does work! All the staff were helpful and very friendly. It seemed as the week went on and we were nearing the end of our vacation the service at the hotel went down a bit (not too much). The food at the hotel was great. Happy hour is actually 2 hours long, the outside bar has it for an hour from 6-7pm and then the inside bar has it from 7-8pm so you get a double happy hour. And you can take your drinks from the inside of the hotel to outside where spectacular views of the sights, sunsets, and fish are waiting. We will definitely use this hotel again!

| Great price for a very nice hotel. May not be for those used to super fancy resorts, but plenty to do here for those who want a relaxing vacation. Location and view is perfect, and snorkeling outside hotel is some of the best on the entire island. Free breakfast is not American style buffet, but rather much higher quality pastries, juices and fruit.

| A very nice hotel on the west coast of Cozumel about 1.5 miles north of the central plaza. Rooms are clean and comfortable with wonderful ocean views to the west. Food and beverages are reasonably priced and the staff are very helpful and accomodating. Prepare to be offered a lot of assitance, whether you might need it or not from vendors in and around the hotel. It's not bad though and there are some rather good deals to be had for car and scooter rentals, not to mention every imaginable water activity. Bottom line is we would go back again, and probably will.

| This hotel has a very friendly staff and are willing to please the guest. It is located right on the main strip and close to the airport and golf. It is a 3km walk to downtown or a $3.oo taxi ride to all the shopping you desire. It is a RCI club hotel but if you are not a member you will be treated just as well, you may be invited to take a 1 hour tour but with no pressure to buy into the club and they will give you discounts to all the attractions just for doing that.

| Hotel was pleasant, ocean view rooms were very, very nice but the street view were just OK. Older facility so did smell musty, etc. Continetial breakfast came with our room which was a nice touch. There was a nice little cafe in the hotel so that was convenient and somewhat tasty. Snokeling was great. No beach, except manmade but the snorkeling made up for it. Was fun to watch the cruise ships as they passed by. Would stay again if you are looking for a nice, quiet place to stay and have other things to do while visiting the island. The pool was too cold to swim during our mid January visit. Not one person in it the whole time. Staff generally friendly and helpful.

| The room I got was not ocean viewing as I had been led to believe I was paying for. The room was supposed to have a refridgerator which was not present. The management only allowed you one liter of purified water for seven days, you had to buy extra from the front desk! They have turned half the hotel into a time share, which I believe is all they are interested in.

| Returned from a stay @ the coral princess 1/10/05. Have been to Cozumel 9x. 1st time @ C.P. The 2 bdrm suite was incredibly spacious and offered great privacy between the bdrms. Snorkeling in front of the hotel was good. Breakfast pastries were yummy, but service was unpredictable and sometimes chaotic.
