This was a great hotel and the location was perfect. We were very satisfied with everything. The room was cleaned everyday, and the room was in good condition. The Front desk staff couldnt have been any friendlier and Mary at the Front Desk was incredible. The continental breakfast was basic but very good and considering its complimentary its a good deal. The pool bar was not open while we were there, but the pool area along with the Hot tub were very well maintained. You can see that there is still some cosmetic work taking place on the exterior of the buildings, but thats to be expected during renovations. Overall we were very pleased, and couldnt understand some of the negative reviews we read prior to our arrival, I am glad we ignored them, because this was a great deal, and we have a great vacation. Just keep in mind that the price was great, so you need to expect basic accommodations, very nice and clean, just basic.

The hotel was far from what it's put out to be. When we checked into our room the whole room smelled like a big mold pit. When we went and took a shower the bottom of the shower liner came up out of the tub with nasty white stuff floating all around. The front dest was not friendly or helpful at all. They didnt seem to no where anything was in orlando. they did not even know what time the disney parks opened. you would of thought they were down here visiting . the room was not a clean as it could of been. but I will say housekeeping came every moring. the only plus to the hotel was it is very close to alot of resturants, shops, and there are 2 super walmarts , and a target. an ok place just to lay your head down and get some sleep but if you have children I would not stay there because of the room smell, the dirt, and of the NASTY bathroom!!!

We stayed at this hotel for a week while on vacation to Disney World and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The service and the staff was great, the room was very big and comfortable. The only thing we had a problem with was the shuttle to the parks. The times that were available didn't always match the times the parks had, so if we wanted to stay to watch things like the fireworks at night, we would have to find a taxi to take us back to the hotel. It became expensive considering that if we wanted to go to downtown disney, the nightclubs, etc, we needed a taxi.

This was a great hotel for the money. Was clean enough and had shuttles to the parks which saves a lot of money. Free breakfast was pretty good. Nice rooms and kitchen with a SuperTarget right across the street. However, don't expect the staff to help you out with anything. Some of the most incompetent employees ever. Didn't give us any of our wake-up calls. Also our luggage was late and when delivered to the hotel, they were asked to contact us and didn't. When we came in to ask, the guy said "Yeah, I think it is over there". He pointed behind the desk and continued his converstation, leaving us to go behind the desk to get our luggage.

When we arived to the hotel, I was very happy with the size of the suite. It never felt like we were in a hotel room. I would definatly go back to this hotel! Ther were somethings that was not in the room that I had expected, like the 2 person whirlpool tub, but it was nice having 2 full bathrooms with the 4 of us in the room. We were very close to all of the attractions, and very convienent to alot of shopping areas. I'm very sure that we will visist this hotel again next year.

Pool was not clean, another patron found needles and wire in the pool. The bar at the pool was never open. There was no fishing available from the property. The grounds are in need of repair. No sign out front. Can't boat or ski from the property, can't get to property because of all the overgroth of weeds at dock. Can't fish from either dock because of growth of weeds. The kitchens were not stocked with enough cookware or untensils. Rooms were never cleaned on a normal schedule one day they were done in the morning, another the room was not done until after five o'clock. not all rooms have step out patios or balconies. their ad is nothing like the grounds look.

I stayed at this hotel because a package deal through Expedia was significantly less then the airline tickets by themselves. You might say they paid me to stay there. The hotel is going through a slow renovation; trying to maintain very high occupancy while remodeling. The hotel was in rough shape during my stay, but nothing that made it unbearable. A free continental breakfast and an unoccupied hot tub every morning made up for the slight back ach from a too soft matress. The back ach is common for me at most hotels anyway. This hotel didn't try to shame me into reusing towels by claiming its good for the environment, so that makes their service. Over all it was a decent cheap stay.

I was in Florida a day before my cruise. The hotel was a further than I thought, but I arrived at 9 pm and there were no signs outside the hotel, but I called for landmarks on my way there. The check-in was friendly and helpful. They even sell Disney tickets there. The hotel is located on a highway that has many restaurants, fast food, sit down, etc. The outside of the hotel looked very nice and well kept. The suite itself, however, had an odor, as if it had been closed up for sometime....I had read that on previous reviews and although the suite was clean, the smell gave me pause but I cut on the air conditioner and used my room freshener. Some areas seemed worn in the bathroom, the tub/shower I think looked pretty worn. I requested an extra blanket (the room had 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa) and 2 extra blankets were brought right over. I did not realize that there were extra bed linens in the hall closet until the next morning. In the morning, I did not realize but was pleasantly surprised to see that they offer a free breakfast buffet, sort of continental style with lots of fruit, juices, coffee and tea, and toast, bagels, french toast that you can toast on your own. Very nice buffet and lobby area. Pleasant experience during my stay and great value for the money. I did not get in the pool or do anything else as I had 1 overnight stay, but the hotel is convenient to a variety of locations.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed being at this hotel. The kitchen was extremely convenient to have with kids. There is a super target across the street with a full grocery store. I would stay again and recommend it if you have children.

It's good for the money you spend on it. I woke up with a sore throat every morning. We had to change hotel rooms because the first one stunk really bad. Also -- they could do a lot better on cleaning their rooms. And, they could use updated appliances and furniture. Not a bad hotel, but I wouldn't go back.

We were relatively pleased with the bi-level suite. There was plenty of space, and the two bathrooms were nice to have. The tubs in both bathrooms, however, were in bad shape, and really should have been replaced. The "resort" amenities listed, though, were particularly disappointing. The beach was tiny, the lake was not accessible, the bbq grill appeared to be broken, etc. There is a brand new SuperTarget across the street, so that was very handy. They did provide silverware, stoneware, and a few glasses, but there were no pots and pans in our room, so you may want to bring your own. We did not use their shuttle, but it was not hard to get anywhere we wanted to go from the hotel.

The rooms at this hotel were very nice for the money. My overall stay, which was good, was ruined when I was charged twice for the room. I had to call everyday for two weeks straight before I got someone to help me. The person I needed to speak to was always "out of the office." The front desk manager and I were repeatedly "accidentally" disconnected while speaking. If you stay here make sure to check the bill very closely and get a receipt.

It wasn't the worst place to stay but in no way would I recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

And the location is great for Disney. The continental breakfast was fine - bagels, muffins, waffles etc - especially since it was free. Supposedly the hotel is on the Lake (though we couldn't see anything but the back of the hotel from our room). Other than that, it was a very clean room and great place to crash while in Orlando. I would stay again in a second. Nice to curl up in front of the fireplace during the winter! Location is kinda far away from Disney hotspots...but definetely worth the drive for the price.

Large room with a working kitchen. Downside: construction on the road made it hard to access hotel, our room was a "non-smoking" room yet bathroom reeked of smoke, landscaping behind hotel was unfinished and poorly kept, and breakfast wasn't very good (limited selection, not very fresh). Upside: free shuttle to Disney parks, and also in a great location, on a road filled with restaurants, gift stores, and putting green.
