We enjoyed our stay, this hotel has very easy access to the beach and we saved money because it is within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. It is also on the free tram route and close to some very good places to eat,(they have a good breakfast at the hotel). We didn't have to move our car our entire stay and they have covered parking on one side. Our 5 year old loved the pool as much as the ocean. The only complaint we had was the Hot Tub wasn't to clean, but we will defenitly stay at this hotel again next time we head to Corpus Christi.

Great museum location, average beach, many jellyfish

The location of the hotel is great if you are planning to visit the USS Lexington or the Texas State Aquarium. You can walk to these locations. If you are primarily interested in the beach, you might be disappointed. My children did not care much for the quality of the sand. It contains finely crushed shells. Not good for sand castles. Jellyfish are a problem. We found two washed up on the beach in less than an hour and one found my son in the water. The hotel was helpful in treating the sting. They obviously see it regularly. Beach access is great if you have a beach front room on the first floor. Ours was a beach front room on the second floor. Carrying our beach items down the stairs and across the pool area to the single beach access point was a pain. We should have packed lightly.

My stay was enjoyable for the most part. Great location on Beach and very close to USS Lexington and the Aquarium. only downside was no parking and had to park a block away one night after returning from activities.

No phone in room, balcony dirty and in disrepair, no pool curfew, low quality continental breakfast, dirty carpet, AND we paid a premium price for a premium room - and did not get what we paid for. Very disappointing. Hotel staff response equally disappointing.
