| We found the staff to be incredibly nice and helpful. Beautiful sitting roomm - nice touch to have wine and cheese in the evening. Breakfast could be a touch better (we like strong coffee) but overall loved it! Would definitely go back - in a great location as well.

| Savannah is a walker's paradise. The Eliza Thompson House is a short walk from many squares, about a 15 minute walk to downtown and the riverfront. The only drawback was that while our room faced a lovely courtyard noise from there was a bit of a problem. This included splashing from the fountain and staff talking while setting up breakfast. Yes, I would go there again.

| Wonderful breakfasts in the courtyard, great wine and cheese in the evenings and delectable desserts and coffee later.Very helpful and friendly staff. Our beautiful room was in the carriage house and overlooked the courtyard, The only drawback was that the fountain and the courtyard horse trough water feature was audible through the night. We wouldn't let that put us off staying there again though.

| We enjoyed almost all aspects of the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was nice and the hotel was "quiet and peaceful." We will definitely return... The location was close to everything we wanted to see!

| Eliza Thompson house is absolutely lovely. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. No need to rent a car. It's an easy walk to beautiful Forsyth Park and about a 10-15 minute walk to the river.

| The service was good and so was the food. Sharing our experiences and backgrounds with the other guest was very pleasing and easy to do with the homey atmosphere the the B&B provided. My new husband and I felt like celebrities throughout our weeks stay. We can't wait to come back for our anniversaries.

| Good location, but overpriced for the quality of the rooms and service. We stayed in the rear addition to the old, original house. Small and not that much ambience for a "historic" inn.Only one sitting room to relax in, the front desk is practically in the front door. Coffee and OJ were atrociously bad in the morning. (Cardinal sin for some of us.)Indifferent staff, not particularly friendly. Have stayed in much nicer places for the same money. We'll try somewhere else next time.
