| Our room was clean and comfortable, and best of all, quiet. They have free USA Today newspapers and the parking was good. The breakfast was free, but didn't have a great selection. There were muffins and waffles and cereal, but no fruit and only a couple of yogarts. We'd definitely stay again as it was clean and there were no problmes.

| This Baymont Inn has a seedy rundown air about it. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, but the room itself was rundown and dirty. The carpets were stained and the blankets were old and pilled. The place was quiet enough and probably sufficient for someone looking for a cheap place to crash. It was inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

| Was a great motel for the price. Our dog was welcomed there which was very nice. We stayed 3 nights and on the second day our bed was not made and we had to get our own towels but to us that is not a real big deal. Very nice continental breakfast and pleasant service. On our way back to Wisconsin we stopped at another Baymont in Springfield Il. and were very pleased with the stay there.

| Though Baymont East is nothing to look at, it is a very comfortable place to stay. We were mistakenly sent to a smoking room but the lady at the front desk was happy to move us to a non-smoking room and the new key was waiting by the time we stepped off the elevator. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and pleasant. While this place is not fancy, it is very functional and affordable. The room was clean and TV and hairdryer worked fine. Breakfast was ok, enough to keep you going until lunch.

| Great breakfast, lots of choices. The location was good and all persons were friendly. Rooms were pretty clean. The main problem I had was that my child had spilled water on the bed and tried to hide it from me, and so I didn't put the change bed sign on. The hotel staff made the bed.... wet.... which I found out when I got into it that night. Yuck. I would go there again, though.

| This Hotel had a little bit of something for everyone. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You are so close to everything you would need such as food, gas etc. I am going back next week and will stay there in the future as well.

| Breakfast was appealing to the kids (toaster waffles and french toast, cereal, bagels), but there was no fruit. The pool is across the parking lot, which wasn't ideal. The cable TV selection is not at all child friendly. There were no kids channels (as parents know, Cartoon Network is not a kids channel). They did have PBS, but the reception on it was extremely fuzzy.

| We got a great rate through expedia on our room. The staff was helpful, the room was made each day when we returned, and the continental breakfast made the deal that much sweeter. If you get a good rate, I would recommend this hotel.

| Staff is extremly helpful and friendly. We had a problem one morning with the hot water. There wasn't any, but I called the front desk and they told me there was someone working on the problem. In less than an hour the water was warm again.

| The only reason we stayed here was because we took our dog with us and this is the only hotel that didn't charge extra for pets. If you're traveling with a pet - this may be the place for you. If not, that should be reason enough to keep looking. Our "non-smoking" room smelled like an ash tray. I'm not exaggerating - this smell did not come from one or two guests smoking in the past. We sprayed air freshener every time we walked in and it was still nauseating. On top of that, the desk clerk couldn't tell us how to get downtown to go to Beale Street - which has to be the most popular tourist area of the city. This is the same staff member that told me over the phone before I booked that there were refrigerators and microwaves in every room - there are not - only in the suites and you can't request one for the other rooms. Additionally, I thought it was odd that the Baymont East and the Baymont Airport had the same pictures on the website. These might be pics of the other hotel but they're not pictures of this one. This hotel is a drab brown color. Oh yeah - one more thing - our sample size shampoo sitting neatly atop a folded towel on the edge of the tub - had a curly little hair sticking out from the edge of the label! What I can say about the hotel is that the staff were consistently very nice. They were apologetic about the room smell and would have given us another room had one been available.
