| The hotel is located within a walking distance to Kennedy Center for Performing Arts so if you are coming to DC to see a particular show or event in Kennedy Center (that was the reason of our trip to DC, to see the new production of MAME) - this is the place to stay! The nearest Metro station is Foggy Bottom/GWU. For those who are on a budget each room has a separate kitchen with microwave, stove dishwasher & coffee maker. And there were all the utensils in the cabinets: pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses.

| The hotel was quite nice, and very close to everything. It was literally a minute's walk from the Metro, and less than 10 minutes from a myriad of local eating establishments. Plus the hotel itself was in a nice half residential half commercial neighborhood. As a result, getting out early in the morning you would see people walking to work and on their morning jogs. Furthermore, the hotel was set back from the street, so there was really no street noise to speak of in our 2nd floor room facing the street.

| It was a pleasurable experience to stay at this hotel. The only sign of carelessness was that the upholstery of the room's armchair had a visible 4 inches tear. At the moment of the checkout, the hotel seemed under staffed at the main desk. The clerk who was there, was a very patient, cordial lady who explained the bill to two customers, who were very confused to say the least. The waiting line grew due to that delay. However

| Excellent hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. They had coffee beans and a blender so you could blend your own fresh coffee -- they had an umbrella in the closet with the Hotel logo, in case it rained; they even had little cotton balls in the bathroom. Antique furniture, ice cubes in the refrigerator freezer trays, etc, etc, loved the hotel!! Comfortable beds, clean rooms...

| We enjoyed this hotel- great location and service at a reasonable price. Traveling with 3 teens, I was happy with the space and added privacy this suite provided as well as the convenience of a refrigerator and 2 TVs. We didn't use our vehicle once during our 3-day stay as the Metro station is a short walk from the hotel and Georgetown is within walking distance. The hotel is located near George Washington University in a fairly quiet location, and there aren't many restaurants or shops nearby. There is an Italian Restaurant connected to the hotel, a nearby Seven Eleven, and delivery service for many types of food. We walked to Georgetown or ate in the Capitol area, and did not find this to be a problem. The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant and accomodating. I recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here again.

| We stayed at the GWU Inn while my daughter was looking at colleges in the DC area. It's a perfect location, just a couple blocks from GWU and the Metro and within walking distance of Georgetown. Rates were very reasonable for downtown DC, although the valet parking fee should be disclosed in advance. I would definitely stay there again.

| Spent 4 nights there w/my wife and two pre-teen boys during spring break. The suite arrangement worked well for us. The kitchenette was a big plus as we had breakfast and dinner leftovers in our room. The staff was gracious. The room, if a little tired, was clean. The hotel is 1.5 blocks to the Metro and 1.5 blocks from a grocery (in Watergate). Some street noise, but that's standard in D.C. Enjoy!

| The hotel staff is so nice and the room was great. We had a one bedroom suite and felt like we were in the comfort of our own home. Great kitchen area, comfortable bed, we slept so well. Really close to the Foggy Bottom metro stop. When we return to DC we will definitely be staying here. Probably won't look anywhere else.

| We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The location, 1.5 blocks from the Foggy Bottom Metro stop and within walking distance of Georgetown, couldn't be better. The rooms, we had two suites, were great. The kitchenettes were a pleasant surprise with their gas ranges. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The Italian restaurant in the hotel offered wonderful food. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great deal and location.

| Nice hotel a block or so from the George Washington University. Foggy Bottom Metro station right there. The only downsides were limited parking and the air conditioning/heat cycled noisely with no way to turn the fan on all the time.

| The George Washington University Inn is a beautiful, older hotel tucked away where you might miss it among other large hotels and establishments. The staff is attentive and the rooms are comfortable and elegant. It's a wonderful location, too, near the fabulous shopping of Georgetown and all the historic sights of D.C.

| Very nice place, close to everything few blocks from Lincoln memorial and museums short cab ride away. Close to Georgetown shopping, National Zoo, Tysons Galleria/Corner 10-15 min drive worth a look for the quality shopping. The room has a small but ample kitchen half size frig. Parking is handled by hotel but costs about $20 a day. Overall a great place I have taken my wife and two small children twice now and not been disappointed.

| This is a small intimate hotel. Pleasant in every way. Our room was lovely. We had a suite with lots of space, a kitchenette, living room, large bath, and king bed. There were plenty of good quality towels, pillows, blankets, and even robes. The room was quite clean and quiet. All this at a very reasonable price. The location was great too! The hotel is not in the center of the city, but close to it and all the attractions are easily accessable via the Metro just a block or so away. There is an excellent Italian restaurant in the hotel (we dined there two nights), but you need to go elsewhere for breakfast or fix your own. We will definately stay here again and will strongly recommend it to our friends.

| My husband and I and our two children stayed here for a couple of nights and found it perfect for our needs. Immaculate and attractively furnished with lots of room, with a sofa bed in a separate room for the kids and a kitchenette--much roomier overall than the chain variations on that idea. Easy access to Foggy Bottom Metro station, which is on the Blue line along with such stops as the Smithsonian and R.F.K. Stadium (Go Nats!). Nice residential/college neighborhood. The bathtub drain was slow the first morning, but they fixed it by that afternoon. We will definitely stay here again.
