| The hotel is located in GREAT location. It is right next to Michigan Avenue where all the stores and famous places are near by. But the Hotel services were horrible. When I asked for direction over the phone, the person just hung up on me twice.

| I traveled with two companions, one of whom is handicapped. The wheelchair-accessible rooms only have one bed and Red Roof do't have rollaways. The room we had was very difficult for my handicapped companion, but we made do- more a testament to her flexibility than to the architecture of this in. The staff were friendly and helpful.

| We were not very impressed with the service or cleanliness of the hotel. The bathroom was very clean, but one of the bedspreads had dark brown stains. I removed the spread and requested to have it changed, but the bed was remade with the same dirty spread. I called again, and remade the bed myself. The hallway carpets were quite dirty as well. During a six night stay, only one bed was turned down on three of the days. I requested an extra luggage rack since we had two suitcases, but I was denied because the resort was full. The front desk agent told me they would have to pull one from another room. (What happens when one breaks?) One of the most annoying aspects was the elevators. The 16 floor hotel only had two small, slow-moving elevators. The elevators were often full, and we would have to wait for the elevator to come around again. The hotel is very close to the Magnificent Mile which made bus access and shopping very convenient. The closest subway train is several blocks away.

| The service was excellent. The room was quite clean. I am a clean freak - practically obsessive-compulsive. The room was small but quaint. Good lighting. I am quite particular about my bathroom and this was very clean. The bed was comfortable - and I am also particular about that considering I've had two back surgeries. I will stay here again. Let's face it - when visiting Chicago I'm interested in entertainment and moving about the city. This is an excellent location for a great price.

| Some of the counter help was helpful and friendly but some had an attitude that was less than accommodating. Couches in the lobby are filthy! You get what you pay for.

| This is a simple, clean hotel right in the heart of the River North neighborhood of Chicago, within walking distance of Water Tower place and several major museums, lots of shopping and dining out. It's not luxurious, but it was basic, comfortable, clean, and cheap. What more can you ask for?

| Another hotel in a great location. One block from Michigan Ave. Did I say great location, thats the only thing this hotel has going for it. The price is cheap, and the rooms showed it. Small room, just enough. The rooms did have an iron, and blow dryer. Coffee in the morning in the lobby. If you are going with a bunch of friends to party, this is the place to stay and crash, thats it!
