| Nothing much to do in Salinas. Stayed here after visiting monterey. AC is noisy. No wifi. Bathtub looks suspiciously dirty. Other than that, everything seems fine.

| The pictures made it look better than it was. The elevator smelled of things I never knew had a smell. The room was acceptable, but the TV didn't fit in the cabinet, there were funky spots on the wall of the bathroom, and the vending machines were out of pretty much everything. If you're looking for a shower and a bed to crash at night and aren't planning on being at the hotel at all during the day, then this is your place.

| The employee was very friendly and kind even at midnight when we arrived. At the room, the light didn't work and the drawer on the little table wouldn't shut. However, if you tried to shut the drawer with some force, the light would flicker on! That was fun for the kids- especially at midnight! My friend had trouble getting her door to open. The beds were comfortable and the rate was cheap, and we were only spending a short time there so it was fine for us, and a little entertaining. Had it not been for the friendly and helpful staff, our stay could have been unacceptable.

| Sink: broken- extremely hot water onlyShower: dirtyEmployees: one very nice man, one extremely rude and incompetent girlThere are train tracks that run right next to the hotel, all night long. Try to sleep through that! The price is low, but I've stayed at much better hotels, in better areas for the same or less money.

| If you're not expecting luxury the Good Night Inn is a decent place to stay. Its a clean, comfortable room that will give you access to a lot of nearby attractions.

| Complaint about the Good Nite Inn Salinas. The first room they gave me had a very bad mattress. However, they moved me to a different room with an adequate bed. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were not heated -- they were cold. The heater in the room did not operate very well. The window coverings in the room were damaged.

| Inexpensive, clean and no frills. Good Nite is a good place to crash on the way through town, but if you are staying in Salinas/Monterey you might to better somewhere else.
