The outside of the hotel was nice, but once we got inside there was a weird smell in the room and our airconditioner did not work. That was the worst part since it was 106 that day.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel because she had to go to a seminar at Cal State Sacramento for a weekend. It is two minutes away from the campus by car, and about 20 min away from downtown Sacramento. The reviews I read said that there was no internet access but there is. They have wi-fi and wired access. There was also a plug on the desk to plug in my laptop. There is a small pool with lounge chairs if you want to get some sun or to just get away from the room. The hotel served its purpose as a place to stay a few nights but I would not recomend it as a vacation spot.

I reserved a non-smoking room with a king bed and was given a smoking room with either a full or a queen size bed. The bathroom smelled moldy.

The Management is very flexible and receptable to requests. I enjoyed my intereactions with them very much. My room quality was acceptable. However, the one way streets are very difficult to deal with, you sometimes have to go very out of your way to get back the direction you want to go...

Bedspread was dirty; carpets were badly stained; only one rickety chair in room and no table. Coffee/continental breakfast not available until well after 6:00 AM. Motel is poorly marked at street level - not easy to get in and out of parking lot.

This hotel was a pain in to get in and out of. When leaving the parking lot to go on to the freeway, you have to cut through some parking lots blocks away because, there are no left turns to make, unless you make an illegal left turn at the light. If you are traveling either East or West from the hotel, you must turn on Howard street and travel north a mile pass the hotel, just to be able to turn around and get back.

The night first started with us getting a smoking room even though it was designated as non-smoking. The second room provided had no fan in the bathroom. My friend could not get an extra pillow from the front desk. Every time the toilet was flushed, we could hear water running. The same was if another guest would open a faucet or flush a toilet.

Had stayed here several times 10 years ago. But this time a nightmare. Checked in, phone had no instructions for use, tried to make local call, failed, called front desk, on second call to front desk for why phone wasn't working was told "I don't know" and they hung up. Went to the frond desk and found out they forgot to turn on phone. No table and chairs in room, they were out in the parking lot on other side of hotel. We choose this place for the low rate and because we would be there only to sleep. This is a place for partiers and loud people. Customer service is non existent.

I went for the price and location close to the University. Not convenient because you only have access from one side of the roadway. Had to call 3 times for them to unclog the toilet. Shopping and food a little drive away. Clean enough. All things considered it was okey for the money.

Our room wasn't cleaned, and my request for more towels wasn't honored. Where are all the economy motels with integrity? Do we really have to pay more just to have our room cleaned, and to receive more towels? Don't go to this one...

The hotel mattresses are too soft. One of them had a slit down the entire side of it. I stayed for 3 days and two nights and every day I saw vagrants outside on the balcony, once they were smoking marijuana. I had to wait for them to leave before getting out of my car to go up to my room. There was no iron available.

If you're on a budget, this is the place for you. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room but no coffee maker. They put out coffee and donuts @ 7:00. The lobby people were very friendly but my room key kept expiring and I had to return to the office several times to have it recoded to get into the room.

Furthermore, the so-called continental breakfast was merely donuts and coffee (and may be orange juice). On top of that there was a sign that stated (to the best of my recollection) "Only Two Pieces Per Person".I certainly do NOT recommend you stay there.
