The Magnolia was a bit expensive, but worth every penny. The rooms were nice and comfortable, but the best part was the courteous and helpful staff. I nearly braved a mile long walk to the Pepsi Center for an event, but a member of the valet team heard me talking about the long walk and had a shuttle (a white Cadillac Escalade!) take me to the show.

This place was a nice place to stay. The beds were really comfortable and the decor was really nice. I didnt feel like i was in a hotel room. The bathrooms decor could be nicer looking to match the beautiful room. The had a nice Continental breakfast. I ate there every morning. All the employees were very nice and helpful. It was centrally located in the city. Easy access to everywhere. I would defently stay there again.

The hotel was nice, but not posh in any way---as it looks like in the photos. So, if you are looking for a romantic getaway, try another place. The employees were nice and the location right downtown was perfect. The cookies were great!

The room was clean and comfortable - the a/c was pretty noisy though. I wasn't very impressed with the front of house staff - they messed up my check-in. I had organised for us to be in a room with a view, but we were put in a room with a view of the back of the building. We changed rooms. Check out was a bit sticky - they had changed our card key, so we couldn't get in the room. This was at 9am, and check out was 11am. Room service was lousy - which was a shame as we wanted a romantic night in. No tray, plates... nothing. On the up side, the hotel was bright, clean, and had some great added extras: happy hour all night at harry's bar, cookies at night, breakfast in the morning and free wireless internet (provided you have your own network card otherwise there's a charge). All in all, I think the hotel was great value for money, and the location is very good. I'd stay there again, just maybe not for our anniversary.

The hotel is beautiful! Very classy and in a great location. My room was not ready upon arrival and was given a complimentary upgrade with no urgings on my side! Room was great except for the the pull out sofa which had to be propped up with chairs so that mattress would not fall through. Make sure it check it upon arrival! Overall though, the stay was great and the next time we are in denver, we will be back!

The Magnolia Hotel in Denver is a gem amongst Giants. Denver has a fair share of great chains to stay at. But don't overflook this chic hotel in the heart of Downtown. I recently traveled there for business and while all the downtown hotels where sold out I took a chance on this small property. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel used to be a bank (1st Floor) and an office building. The building was beautifully transformed into an upscale somewhat boutique hotel with 1st rate service. My deluxe suite was not only clean it was fresh. I would feel comfortable with children in these rooms. I even called my wife and told her that on our next trip to Denver we would stay with our two boys (18 months and 3 months) at the Magnolia. The Hotel's Downtown location was convenient to LoDo, 16th Street, and the convention center. The staff was wonderful. They offered several times to drive me in the Hotel's new Denali to local restaurants or to my appointments. Although I didn't get a chance to enjoy the bar/night club, I will make it a point to enjoy a cocktail there. The staff is very personable, always calling me by name and greeting me with a warm and friendly smile. I work in the hotel industry and would love to have this staff at my hotels.

I came to a conference in Denver--the 'official' conference hotel was too costly but I wanted to be close by. The Magnolia was perfect--a short 2 block walk to the conference but a stay in a much more intimate and less costly hotel. The cookies and milk/tea at night were a lifesaver for the nights I couldn't get to dinner! The staff were very helpful, even coming to the room to help with wireless connection. Very clean, very nice financial district location. The 16th street mall is right there! Parking garage next door is convenient. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone--in fact a wedding party was staying there, too.

I stayed at the Magnolia on business last week as was just delighted! The rooms were very comfortable. The location was great. My only complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Despite that, I will definitely stay there again.

This is a great little hotel right in the heart of downtown Denver. The rooms were very nicely appointed, the location was superb, and the staff was very courteous and accomodating. We utilized the attached parking garage instead of the valet option and saved a bundle! The location was perfect and we were within walking distance of all the downtown shopping and dining. I would definitely stay here again! (Don't miss out on the lower level...a great place to sit and relax as well as scrumptious cookies at bedtime!!)

We went downtown for a comedy show at the Buell Theater which as long as you don't mind walking a couple of blocks, is pretty near by. the hotel is also a block away from the 16th street mall. The bar is funky and serves great drinks; for something a little more private you can go downstairs where they have a waterfall/pond; very nice! Our room was nicer than expected and the staff was ever so friendly!

This hotel has a bit more character than the chains that populate most downtowns. It appears to be emulating the European model of hotel and breakfast, with the breakfast being pretty standard and limited continental fare. Rooms are nice and it's an obvious rennovation of an older structure. The bar is set up as retro-style and is OK. Downstairs dining area is the high point. Staff were bery curteous and it has great accessibility to most of LoDo. Nice alternative to the pricier Brown Palace.

This is a nice urban hotel with reasonable pricing. Rooms are "urban hotel" (smallish, large baths.) It is very conveniently located to the 16th Street Mall, which is the better location (than the LODO). There is easy access to convenience foods, as well as fine dining within a block or two. (Several shops right in front of hotel, available over noon hours.) The continental breakfast is very nice, and is situated in a wonderful sitting room- perhaps the best feature of this hotel. I'd book this room again especially if I was meeting family or friends, and bring them to this lower level area to hang out. (Far superior to the "jazz bar, which is not inviting at all. It's set up backwards, with the band right by the door.)

Was in town for 3 days for a conference. Magnolia is ideally located downtown, a block from the 16th street mall, the "main drag" of Denver. Walking distance to the conference center, and the other big hotels downtown. A 5 minute walk to LoDo, the renovated lower downtown area with lots of great restaurants and boutique stores. Hotel is nicely refurbished, pleasant and helpful staff, and a full-service Starbucks in the same building. Entire hotel is non-smoking which is also a plus. Denver itself was a little bland for me, but I honestly can't find fault with Hotel Magnolia.
