| This is difficult for us because, the spotless, pleasant appearance of the hotel..excluding guest rooms...was very, very nice. It is only my opinion, but I think they are in the PROCESS of renuvating and at this point, they are yet to do the guest rooms. Nearly everything was overdue for replacement, receptacles were ALL loose so that plugs simply fell out, carpeting was so old it probably could no longer get cleaned but also hadn't been vacuumed recently or during our stay. I requested no smoking room,the room was not. The bedding was my issue above all else. I've not seen blankets in such disgusting condition,ever.....anywhere. These belonged in the museum and adding the cigarette burns on them, ick. But again, staff couldn't due enough for us and also, we were given a 'coupon ' to use toward future stays. As a matter of fact, when the manager overheard my husband at check out, he got up discreetly to go to the room and address all the issues. I really think we came at a bad time and they certainly deserve another chance. After all, they can only update so fast and meanwhile, if there is a problem, to me it is much less acceptable and upsetting if the staff just doesn't care. They surely did.

| Although this hotel is near the stylish Buckhead area, it is actually in an industrial park area right off highway 85. Not very clean hotel although the rooms were well-kept. Unfortunately, the "No Smoking" signs did not stop a previous guest from smoking in our room and you could smell smoke from other rooms.
