| This hotel is clean and in a very convience location. The rooms are extremely small but it's clean and bathrooms are private and really nice.

| The hotel was RIGHT by times square. It was also walking distance to all of the major broadway plays. My mom and I went a week after I graduated high school, and it was PERFECT. I would definitely go back and stay in this hotel again and again. The rooms are small, but perfect for 2 people.

| This is a nice hotel room for one. The room was clean, but this is not a hotel room that you want to go to relax after a long day of walking around. The bathroom is also tiny.

| The room was small and basic but clean and comfortable and the private bathroom looked recently remodeled and was very clean. The staff was very kind and the hotel was kid friendly. It was only a couple of blocks from Times Square and Broadway-right in the middle of the theater district and it was one block from the place that sells the big apple bus tour passes. If you are looking for a romantic trip this is not the hotel, but if you are going with friends or taking the family it was fine-I would stay here again.

| The toilet was not working properly when I checked in and had to be serviced twice. It was not cleaned after one of the times it was serviced.

| The hotel is very well located, very close to Time Square. This is convenient. However, for the price I paid, hotel service, cleanliness and comfort were really unsatisfying! People at the reception were impolite, the room was so tiny and the shower worked only every other time...

| This hotel is in a good location, has wireless access, and is pretty reliable. I have stayed here a few times now. They don't read the recommendations you put in Expedia though. So, if you want a non-smoking room you may want to call the hotel directly in the afternoon to make sure that they get you a non-smoking room.

| Very clean and confortable room, best of all the bathroom was completely new. The halls well lighted. Centrally located, walking distance to Saint Pratrick cathedral, Time Square and Central Park. Already recommended to a neighbor planning to go to NYC.

| Hi, My wife and me stay in this hotel 6 nights from January 30, the room was comfortable, warm and clean, especially the bathroom, one of the concierge was helpfull, especially he notes that we dond't speak english very well and tried to help us more than we imagine. The hotel is just a block from times square, rockfeller center. we are happy to find this hotel. i recommend the hotel.

| We stayed in a single queen bed room, and the room was too small. The shower is kind of uncomfortable, but overall it meet our expectatins. The room is perfect for two persons who need the room to rest and sleep.

| Best Western President is located in a great spot if you are in NYC for sight-seeing and the like. The rooms were very clean but extremely small. I wouldn't recommend putting more than two adults in a double bed room. There was barely room for our luggage!

| I knew this hotel was lower quality, but the room itself was quite a shocker still. The horrible stink of the room combined with the broken air conditioning dial and the dirtiest shower head had me amazed. The mattres was also the oldest and worst i have seen and felt. The hotel was however in a prime location.

| We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of our room. It was tiny, but the bathroom was pristine and the bed was honestly the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The central location and inexpensive price were the most important factors when we chose the hotel, so we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The staff were polite and helpful. Definitely will stay there again!

| The room was small, but comfortable. Everything was clean when I checked in and the bed was comfortable. Not much room to move around a lot, but then if you are staying in Times Square you probably aren't planning on spending too much time in the room anyway. The hotel is half a block off Broadway on 48th street, and is within walking distance to all Broadway theaters as well as some interesting nightspots and restaurants in Hell's kitchen. The subway is close too, so traversing the city is relatively easy from the location. I would stay there again, as the cost for the location wasn't bad.

| During my second stay, I was very unhappy with the service and called the CS dept. During my most recent stay, I noticed that the individual was not working. Overall, if you can adjust to the small rooms and long waits for the elevators, you will be happy with your stay. Because we spent a lot of time out of the room, we adjusted accordingly.

| Very accessible to Broadway theaters and just right beside Times Square. Near Subway stations, restaurants etc. Overall, We were satisfied tih the hotel. Although the room is so small. But what can you expect from New York, every space counts.....and cost money.....:-)

| This hotel has a magnificent location is only about 1/2 a block from Time Square, the location is awsome it takes less than a minute to reach (walking!!!) to Time Square. The room was clean, small but more than confortable, the heater worked perfect (thank god cause it snowed!) and we even had a balcony...that was cool! You can't get a better price for such a cool hotel.

| We had a great time in New York and our hotel was nice. We were very close to Time Square and Rockafellar Center. Subway stations are a close walk. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Only issue we had was that staying on the 12th floor of the hotel, hot water for a shower or bath sometimes took up to 10 minutes to kick in... but once it was on, you had a great time!

| I have stayed at this hotel several times but this was probably the last. We love the location but the past two stays have gotten worse each time. Thermostat in last two rooms didnt work properly, once the room was too hot then too cold. Several elevator issues, hotel just seems to be going down hill.

| I found the room less value for the money than other hotels. The mattress was horrible. I don't expect to roll to the center on hotel beds. The room was small, but that was not a main concern. The desk staff was not overly professional (smoking at desk). The breakfast buffet, which we thought was include was about $8. More our fault for not checking, but so many hotels now include a continental breakfast that we assumed wrongly. Good location, but not much else.

| The rooms were overheated (and it was cold in NY); cooler/heater and thermostat did not work. Hotel did not respond to requests to fix this. Room not available when arrived even though called for LATE (midnight) check in.Minimal attention to guests at front desk. Waited 30 minutes to check in and 50 to check out; one person on desk with 8 groups waiting.Restaurant advertised but not operational. Location was a plus - almost on Broadway near Time Square.

| The following is an e-mail I sent to the hotel:I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The only good things I have to say about the hotel are that the location was awesome and the price was reasonable. Other than that, this hotel was horrible. * The service was extremely rude.* The service was extremely slow. I asked for clean towels, and after 2 phone calls, I finally got them...2 hours later.* I found a pen under the mattress sheets, which makes me question whether the sheets were even changed between the previous occupants of the room, and us. To think that I was potentially sleeping on dirty sheets made me sick.* The headboard of the bed was sticky, once again, making me question the cleanliness of the room.* The shower curtain would "attack" me while I was trying to take a shower. I could not keep it from blowing in and sticking to me while I showered. The thought of that curtain touching other naked, dirty people and then me, made my skin crawl.Even if I brought my own sheets and 10 cans of Lysol, I don't think I would ever stay here again.

| The hotel was conveniently located just off Broadway. The room was small but clean and well equipped.There is a restaurant facility in the hotel, but it is not operating at this time. A continental breakfast was served for $7.95, expensive even by New York standards.There is a Concierge service, but it appears to be open limited hours.The hotel is fine if you just need a place to sleep in the heart of the Theater district, but it is not a 4 star hotel, and does not provide a lot of extra services.
