It is located near the metro, which made for easy travel. I thought the front desk people were rather unprofessional but they got the job done. each floor has a guest request closet where you can get irons, pillows, etc. my floor's closet was always empty so i just snagged items from other floors. the computer area in the second floor lobby was very nice and worked well. I was able to check e-mail and have homemade cookies. my room itself was terrific. on the small side but perfect for my needs. very quiet and had blackout drapes. no bathtub and a small shower but otherwise a very high quality experience. the restaurant, cafe soleil, was very nice and had a patio seating. there is self-check in available. i would stay there again if returning to DC.

This Hotel was easy to find. It is right around the corner when you get off at the Ferragut West Metro Stop. It is which 3 walking blocks of the white house. Really good location. The room was kinda small but was clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed my stay here. I will definitely consider this hotel in the future.

The attached restaurant was very good, but only breakfast option was a buffet which makes for an expensive breakfast if you're into cereal or oatmeal. There is a Starbucks and a another local bakery only 1 block away. The only negative is that it seems that every sirened vehicle in WDC uses 17th ( the street in front of the hotel) for all their trips. Lots of sirens in the night.

When we checked in to the Club Quarters, we were told to use the automated checkin but as our key got stuck in it-they had to do it manually anyway. I like checking into a desk more than an automated check-in. We found our room nice but a little small, quite adequate for our needs. That night however the room next door had a woman who was having a loud argument with her boyfriend on her cellphone in the hallway right outside our room. She was cursing and I was not very happy as I had my 7 year old with me. I called down to the desk and they managed to take care of it. I found the restaurant attached very disappointing with the staff having a poor proficiency in English and the quality of the food being less than what I thought it should be. (The croissants being a tad stale on my second day there.) Other than those few short comings I would recommend this hotel, although not as highly as I would soome of the other area establishments.

I was very happy with Club Quarters. The room was small but you're not there for that long. It is near several Metro lines which was very convenient. The hotel is located in the business district so there wasn't much open nearby on the weekend. Ask the front desk for recommendations or to check if nearby restaurants are open. They are very helpful.

Hotel room was clean. The subway station for Farregut West is UNDER the hotel - pretty convenient except closed on weekends. Had to walk a block to another Metro station. PRICEY breakfast - but Subway and Starbucks are a block away. No Food after 11pm in area - Take the cab to the "Old Ebbit Grille" - IT IS WORTH THE $6.50 CAB FARE!! The desk can help you. The air cond was not working in our room but we were comfortable. I will stay their again. I have paid more at "chain" hotels and they have been roach dens!!! Watch out for the homeless near the metro stations. Love DC - can't wait to go back!

I booked this hotel because it was in DC downtown and cheaper than others. The hotel is not bad, however for this price it might be better. The hotel does not have a car parking, they use one nearby but it is not convenient. The maid twice attempted to service my room at 9 am, which I believe is a bit early. No breakfast included, just free coffee at the second floor. My room was non-smoking, but the smoke from neighboring room entered it somehow and this was not pleasant. The mattress is short for a tall person (6-2). I am not sure I will book this hotel next time...

The hotel was under renovation, which led to some noise and dust, but our room was just fine in terms of sleeping and cleanliness. It was a comfortable (smaller) place to stay, but the location is perfect for DC sights, and a good deal for those on a student's budget. I had stayed in Club Quarters in Philly, and was also impressed that I had WiFi access and when needed, could complimentary print out a document I had forgotten for a meeting.

With twin beds and two large people, this might not be the choice. But the hotel offered to convert the beds to a king and bring in a roll-away ( a little larger than a single), so that solved the sleeping issue. The Executive room is tiny - no tub and a queen or two single beds. The room is compact and clean, the service friendly, and the access to the Metro is very good (a block a way on weekends - next door on weekdays). A five star restaurant, Equinox, is around the corner, and the best seafood restaurant, McCormick's, is a block away. I would go back just to save on budget. A great deal!

The only complaint would be that because we arrived in the DC area very late at night and it was a busy time, they gave our room to someone else :{ However, they arranged for us to stay at another hotel for that night, took care of our cab fare, and compensated for our trouble. We enjoyed the other two nights of our trip, especially the location. We were two blocks from the White House and within walking distance of all of the major monuments. It was a great place to stay and the staff was excellent!

My wife and I just stayed here for a week while we visited DC. The room was small, but comfortable. Location was ideal. CQ is right above the Farragut West station on the Blue/Orange line and a block from Farragut North on the Red Line. Just a few blocks from the White House. The staff at the front desk has a chip on their shoulder. The evening shift was surly, the day shift somewhat aloof. We stayed a week, came and went constantly. Never a hello or a smile. The room maid never got it that there were two people staying. Got one hand towel and one wash cloth. Figured out quickly to just raid the maids pantry for what we needed. Ice was a hassle to get. Only left elevator goes to ice machine in Lower Level. The elev. only runs if you swipe room key, and that elev. card reader is faulty. Second floor guest lounge is nice, but cookies (in evening) are cheap and not many, no beverage except water. Never saw anyone in gym-ette.

Employees were friendly and attentive, rooms were nice (agree the bathrooms were small, but hey) and clean. This was my wife's first trip to DC and this hotel helped make it an enjoyable one.
