| Thankfully I had done a good deal of research on this property so I knew to ask for a "newly remodled" unit. I made this request well before arriving, but was not assigned such a place. However, the clerk who checked us in was able to "move the board" so that we were given a recently undated unit. I found the facilities of the property very satisfactory and useful to us three adult women and three children seven years and younger. More friendly and informative check-in personnel could be an improvement for this property. Plus some information stating that some units are across a very busy street and away from lobby and main pool would be recommended. Amenities were adequate and additional ones were available for the asking, but we were glad we brought some of our own cleaning & kitchen items more suitable for small children's use.

| I stayed to the Hotel for only 2 nights, and I was satisfied with my stay. The room was very nice and clean. And was an apartment style unit very spacious and homie!!The only thing I would say is that the rest of the compound needs updating in terms of the rooms. I was told the 3 bedroom units were updated but not the 1 and 2 which we stayed in. Another problem was the darn AC Unit which had a automatic climate control that we could not manually regulate gave us a heck! It was horrible and it was hot! I complained but they said that just how the system worked "supposedly". But everything was nice and I especially loved the Jacuzzi type tub in the master bedroom very nice touch. There are plenty of pools all over the compound. All in all everything was good and I will come back next year defintely when all of the renovations are complete!

| The hotel Celebrity Resort Orlando is not a hotel. Its a converted condominium complex, or rather two of them. If I wanted to eat at the "on grounds restraunt", or the indoor heated pool. I had to cross a very busy 4 lane highway to do so. There are no maid services included in the base cost of the room. Not even daily towel replacment or trash pick-up. That service " Tidy Clean"( includes: remake beds, replacing towels, loading dishwasher, vacuuming, and trash pick-up) will cost you an additional $27.00 a day. "Full Service Clean" ( includes: changing bed, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchen, mopping, dusting, and Tidy Clean services ) will cost you $37.00 a day. If you do not get either of these you can expect to clean your own room, take your own trash out, and can swap your towels out once a week. They also have a in room safe fee they will charge you for wether or not you use it. This hotel almost completely ruined my Disney vacation. For the price you will pay for the room and cleaning service. You could stay at a much much nicer hotel. Please do not fall for this scam as I did. I will never stay at another Celebrity Resort Hotel ever again!!!

| Very disappointed in the quality of the hotel. Definately needs upgrading. The layout was great and actually the beds were comfortable. Limited television channels. Met a few cockroaches-ugk! The utlimate reason I will never go back is on checkout day, I opened my blinds and the maid was out there waiting to get in to clean. Check out time is 10 am and it was 8:15 am. She just paced out there looking at her watch and when we did leave at 9 am she was passing by us to get in before our feet hit the blacktop.

| Overall a nice stay. The room was spacious, but very dated- needs lots of TLC. This resort was in the process of remodeling, and of course I got a room that needed a lot of attention- tub leaking into bedroom closet, decorated early 80's. The suite was very big and all the appliances worked, even had a washer and dryer in the room. It just felt a little funky. It will be nice after ALL the rooms are remodeled.

| Not many amenities, housekeeping is extra, but the layout of the 1 bedroom suite was really nice. For the price, it was 'homey' and comfortable and close to everything. Having the dishwasher was also a bonus. The safe didn't work, even after they gave me 'instructions'. Jacuzzi tub was really nice, but as soon as we put it on we saw grime appear on the sides-yuck. Overall, it was an average stay.

| We stayed in a 2-BR/ 2- BA condo style room and really appreciated the extra space with 2 young children. Hotel was fine but old. It looks like they're starting to update it a bit. Not in the greatest area of Disney World but if you're not planning to be in the room too much and just want more space than a typical hotel room, this may be the place for you! Very close to the Disney parks and easy to navigate the local roads. Lots of nearby restaurants too.

Everything in our room worked perfectly, the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and our stay was wonderful! We are telling all of our family and friends to stay at Celebrity Resort and we will DEFINATELY stay there anytime we go to Orlando.

| The Celebrity Hotel and Resort is a definate don't for anyone wanting a "vacation" in the Orlando area. Online and even on the pamphlets in the lobby, the Celebrity "appear" to be an upstanding, beautiful oasis. Not so! The paint is peeling, the walls are crumbling, the beautiful bubbling fountain in the commons area is bone dry, cracked, dirty, and it is questionable if it even runs. There are no doormen, valets, or even bellhops that great you upon exiting your vehicle. The staff didn't even were uniforms let alone express and resemblance of customer service! Upon checking in you are immediately ushered to the time-share salesperson. Our room was a ridiculously long way away and the Celebrity only provides transportation for your luggage! For a family of 5 with 2 under 6, on a humid 84 degree day, the walk almost melted us. The amenities boasted online were as fantasy-like as the Resort and its Guest Relations. Child care-a grumpy front desk person in an "arcade" doning a couple of games. Some days they provide activities for the little tots, though! Lizard catching and coin tosses. How creative! We departed as soon as we could and found incredible lodging(much nearer to the Disney parks) for the same rate. Unfortunately, due to restrictions charged for our 6 reserved days, but it was definately worth the upgrade to real vacationing. Save yourself, your loved ones, and your pocketbook. The Celebrity Hotel and Resort was only an internet mirage.

| Upon arrival to Celebrity resort, the check in process took a while. Room 304A is where we stayed, and I do not recommend this room. Here's why: the room was too small, the bathroom had mildew on the tiles and handles, the sliding door housed some brown crustations, audible people next door, the ice machine was only available at the bar with limited hours, requested a non-smoking room but residual smell from neighboring room became prominent. We called the service desk multiple times with requests to move to another room and left several messages with no response. I would definitely not recommend this one. Watch out for extra fees (i.e. house keeping, toiletries, safe box, etc.) Hope this provides some insight before you choose this resort.

| Good: I stayed in a one-bedroom. It had a full, well-equipped kitchen, full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub (my husband loved it), washer and dryer, full living room with sofa bed, two TVs with HBO. The nearby pool was always warm. We bought breakfast items and drinks and saved a lot of money that way. There are many of the chain restaurants we're used to nearby as well as a Super Target and a Super Wal-Mart. Bad: I was across a very busy street from the front desk building, so I felt very distanced from many of the hotel's amenities. My mother who got another one bedroom had problems with the room's air conditioning. She found it to be too hot. Her air conditioning turned on and off on its own, while I was able to control mine. They moved her but the new room had the same problem. Eventually, I had to change rooms with her to make her happy.

| The two bedroom suite we stayed in was clean, but was not what we expected as the pictures online appear to be the renovated suites, and not the one we got! You could see the outside around the frame of the door, there were small pieces of the cabinet that seemed to fall off whenever you closed the cabinet doors. The bedrooms were on the second floor and the space between the railings was very wide and not at all safe for small children (I have a 1yr and a 3yr old). I would recommend at least bringing a door gate for your bedroom at night so that you have some peace of mind that the little ones cant fall down the stairs or inbewteen the railings at night. When I asked at the front desk about getting a renovated suite, they told me none of the two bdrms had been renovated and that all of the one bdrms were booked( yet the parking lot wasn't anywhere near full, whatever!) Anyway, I guess if you pay the low rate that I got, you shouldn't expect TOO much! I said that I would recommend this hotel, but only to those who are on a tight budget but still want the convenience and space of a two bedroom suite. As I said, it was clean, no bugs, but I was kind of disappointed as the lobby is gorgeous and the ground were very pretty too, suite was kind of a let down.

| If you're looking for a reasonably priced condo this is not a bad pick. The two bedroom suite I rented needed updating but was overall comfortable. The beds were good, the appliances worked (the freezer was strong enough to freeze a bottle of vodka, Jack and, Hennesey)and the furniture comfortable. The room was a little musty and obviously some guest had ignored the non-smoking policy in the past, but it was not to the point of being anoying. Concierge service ranged from great to horrible depending on the attendant. The responsiveness of the desk staff drops off immediately when you tell them you're not interested in buying a time share.
