First of all, the hotel was not that expensive. Maybe it's because I live in the city of Chicago, but it seemed like a reasonable rate. Then we got to the hotel and my opinion sky-rocketed. First of all, there was a seperation from living room area to bedroom area. It's nice to be able to close the bedroom door, you know? Have that apartment feel and not that one room hotel feel. Also, the bathroom had a very spacious jet tub. Four people could fit in it comfortably and the jets were great. Instead of one television, there was one in the bedroom and one in the living room area. The only thing that we didn't like was the fact that there was no refridgerator, but that wasn't a big deal. It was spacious and comfortable and I'd love to go back.

Away (but yet, not too far) from downtown area, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Pool and fitness center are a bit small, but whirlpools in suites are a plus. I would definitely go back.

we booked a 2 day stay...our room was never cleaned on Saturday...we finally went to the front desk to ask for clean towels and another coffee package ....we asked a housekeeper in the hall..but she pretty much told us to go to the front desk...when we returned to our room...we had towels ..no coffee..but a dirty microwave was placed in our room..was it supposed to be in there from the beginning or what????

Not satisfied with Expedia's service, however, as Expedia charged me more than what the hotel rate was.

Very dirty on all floors of the hotel. Lobby looks good and rooms are clean but the halls of this hotel are packed with left over food. We stayed on the 4th floor and the same food was in the hallways all 3 days we were their molding away. Being open on all 8 floor you could see food on all the floors with the glass elevators. We called down 3 times and complained about it they said will take care of it and stayed all 3 days not moved. Cleaning people walk right around it like its not their job to pick it up. Was looking to take the family to a nice hotel and turned out to be not impressed. 1 star rating would have been better. Also complained on the survey of our stay at the hotel and they haven't gotten back to me. Giving them all way's to contact me.

Recently stayed at the Northland Inn for 3 nights. Hotel is BEAUTIFUL and rooms are comfortable and clean. Pool is small so that was somewhat of a disappointment to the kids. Hot tub jets are weak, however, large bathtub with jets in room made up for that. Will definately stay at this hotel again.

Got an upgrade to another room at no charge, extremely comfortable, and felt very good about the staff and security personell. Only downfall would have to be the in-room dinning (steak and potatoes) I don't feel was worth $33.00.

We've stayed at the Northland Inn on 2 separate occasions, and it has become the first place we go to check for rooms when making a trip to the Twin Cities. The Northland Inn is very conveniently located on I-94 less than a mile from Hwy 169 with easy access to all areas of the Mpls/St. Paul area.It has the atmosphere of a luxury hotel with a staff that make you feel welcome. We had a minor problem with the plumbing during one of our stays, but maintenance was sent up within 10 minutes and fixed the problem.
