My son and I just spent Father's Day weekend here...a total of 3 nights. The desk-service was great and expeditious. However, when checking in and out, the chlorine smell from the pool was almost overwhelming. It's right on the highway, but we didn't hear any noise. The ceiling in our room had mold on it, as did the walls in the bathroom. The caulk around the tub was peeling. Overall, the hotel is in dire need of an overhaul and the rooms need a good scrub with some cleanser and disinfectant.

The hotel is in need of some remodeling(old carpet and the like) but our room was clean and the staff helpful. Reasonable place to stay located close to train station to get to NY.

The hotel itself was ok, however our car was broken into and vandalized on the parking lot. Several very important items were stolen and cannot be replaced in addition to our car being damaged. The hotel did not have any outside security or security cameras. While the hotel staff did call the police for us, they really didn't have any other help to offer us. I would not recommend staying here unless they beef up their security and can offer some time of compensation for the problems which occur on their property.

this hotel had easy check in, nice spacious rooms, and helpful employees. I was a bit disappointed by the bathtub which needed some repair and the knobs where backwards. Otherwise the room was perfect. Breakfast was nice, with bagels, cereal, muffins, and coffee. Pool was nice, warm, and clean. Good rates for a nice stay. Also I expected to hear the highway traffic all night, and it was actually rather peaceful. Overall, a good place to stay.

This place was great for the price. My sheets smelled yucky & the walls were paper thin but the bathroom was clean & they had a nice big tv & refridgerator. The desk clerks were super nice & they had a nice continental breakfast. Very nice.

We stay on a 2 beds room. Both beds were squeaking at the minimum move. It's close to SR-3, then, there is a lot of loud from cars running on the highway. Water in the tub went from warm to cold in a second, and back again to warm. We found a bunch of hair in one bed, below the comforter. Going to NYC is a 15 minutes trip. It's cheap (compared to NYC hotels or others in the area) and they offer complimentary breakfast (although we did not tried it, because we used to leave the room after 9.30 AM).

Not quite sure how this hotel rates 3 stars. The bathroom was very old and needed a good cleaning. The bed linens including the pillows were well worn. Our room looked out on a cement wall. Half the window was blocked with plywowd, very attractive.... The furniture in the room is very old, dented and worn (except for a new armoire type closet, which is odd given there was a good size closet). Cell phone service was lited in the rooms so everyone was in the lobby and halls talking on their cellphones. On the plus side the carpeting, drapes, and arm chair looked fairly new so maybe they are in the process of upgrading. The room was also very quiet considering the hotel is on the extremely busy Rt 3. Breakfast room is very nice, but breakfast selections are very limited.

This is an aging hotel and it shows. I woke at around midnight to the beeping of the alarm clock of the room next door (my room had a locked connecting door). It was obvious no one was planning on turning the alarm off. I contacted the front desk who led me to believe they would take care of it immediately. Thirty minutes later I had to walk downstairs to debate with the front desk as to whether or not the alarm was on or not. I peronally escorted "security" to the room; but, the "security" guard refused to enter the room; even though he was knoking hard on the door. I had to go back to the night manager and had to be forceful to have her come up to open the door to the room. She was convinced she had no right in opening the room even after phoning, knocking and calling out for someone dead or alive to answer the door. Never again.

If you're looking for a nice, clean hotel - with a pool and game room for the kids - this is the place. Nothing fancy - just a decent place to stay.
