| When we arrived on 12-26-04 we were told that they had overbooked and we were being sent to another hotel. We had booked a couple of months earlier and prepaid so I wasn't happy. I was assured that the rooms were of the same quality, which wasn't true. We finally got a room at the Divi Southwinds on the 29th, after much time wasted calling them. Our room was not ready when were told it would be. Neither the clock nor the tv in the bedroom worked. The tv was finally fixed the day before we left. The room was otherwise very nice, a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette. The beach is across the street and a little more crowded than others in the area but still very nice. The location of the hotel is great. There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance. While the room was very nice, I cannot recommend staying there due to the incredibly poor service. The worst part was that they did not seem to care at all that they had caused us so much inconvenience. There are too many other places to stay in the area to risk booking at the Divi Southwinds.

| There were a few errors, but they were resolved;1. There was no one available to pick us up at the airport.(I discussed this with your agent next day).2. I was first given a standard room, only after I objected did I get an ocean front room.3. We had to wait for 4 days before the personal safe in the room was fixed.Other than those issues, we rebounded and enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going again hoping there will be no issues.
