| This hotel is beautiful. The room and property were wonderful. The beach is clean and well groomed. The restaurants are first rate but a bit expensive. The service we received at this hotel was below par. Because we visited in the off season there were not as many activities or staff available. This was irritating but did not ruin the vacation. In hindsight I would go back during a more busy time of year.

| The air conditioning would not go below 70 degrees. You had to walk two blocks to get a beach towel. There were insufficient number of face clothes (only 1) in the room after the second day. There is no weather channel.

| The 30 minute drive from the airport was definitely worth it.Our view was spectagular. It almost felt like we were on a secluded island. The beaches are awesome!!!Definitely a relaxing and romantic get away, but yet the bungalow style lodging is wonderful for a family as well. Not crowded at all, close to a quaint town, great private, gated entrance and serene scenery. It was a GREAT vacation get- away!!

| Our stay was pleasant and the hotel met our expectations. There was an overcharge by the Roomm Service, but it was cleared at the end of our stay. The hotel needs more and better signage along the route from the airport to the hotel location, specially for first timers.

| This hotel is fabulous if you want to relax. Service is impeccable...unless...there's many people staying there. We felt like kings and queens until the weekend when the hotel clearly coudln't handle more guests. Restaurants are spread out throughout the complex making it difficult to be on time for your reservation. However, we are very grateful for the gentleman who brought us dinner to our room in the pouring rain and the other server who brought us lunch out on the beach.

| Chose Puerto Rico because it was easy to get to and no hassle with passport etc. Would go back because we had a absolutely wonderful time. The Hyatt Dorado was fantastic. Can't think of one thing to complain about, except we didn't stay long enough. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, nicely decorated and the ocean view was so romantic. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. Really liked the trolley from one hotel to the other. Would recommend this resort without hesitation.

| Fantasic golf, lovely beach, dining service only fair. Would like to see resort add an outdoor dinner venue to capitalize on lovely grounds. Golf staff go out of their way to accomodate guests; they are the reason to return.

| Whenever I choose a hotel from the Internet, I go fully accepting that it will fall short of the pictures and descriptions. I just hope it won't be too short. This hotel was the exception to the rule. It is absolutely more beautiful than pictured. The grounds are huge and beautifully maintained with lots to find for the avid wanderer. There are always carts available for further destinations and the shared privelidges with the other hotels makes for plenty of choices. The food was short of excellent, but was certainly fine. The service was friendly and helpful. It is family friendly without seeming like a McDs playplace. We would definitely go back!

| We'd been to PR prior to this trip and stayed at the Westin Rio Mar, which was much nicer. (We would have gone back there but this trip was for a wedding at the Dorado.) The hotel had a shabby, unkempt look and the service was lackluster at best. It seemed very far from any of the attractions we enjoyed on our first trip, such as El Yunque (which I highly recommend). Overall, would recommend staying somewhere else.
